SUZIE UNGERLEIDER ANNOUNCES DELUXE EDITION OF AMONG THE EVERGREENS +
APRIL 2026 UK TOUR AND NEW SINGLE ‘AMSTERDAM’ FT. LUKE DOUCET AND MELISSA MCCLELLAND OF WHITEHORSE

NOMINATED FOR ENGLISH SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR AT THE 2026 CANADIAN FOLK MUSIC AWARDS
Ahead of an upcoming UK tour, acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter Suzie Ungerleider announces the deluxe edition of her critically acclaimed album Among the Evergreens, out March 13, 2026, on MVKA, and shares a brand new single ‘Amsterdam’, co-written and recorded with Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland of Whitehorse. Listen here and watch the charming lyric video here.
"This song is a collaboration with my friends Luke and Melissa from Whitehorse about our long and winding musical friendship, on and off stage", shares Ungerleider. "This sing-along tells the giddy story of a shared adventure on a night off in Amsterdam, getting lost and looking at all the lights sparkling on the water in the canals".
With an exciting touring season ahead, Ungerleider is joyfully returning to the place where her songs truly come alive. "There is nothing like experiencing the energy of the people in the room, all listening and feeling together. It is that musical communion that really makes songs complete", she shares.
Among the Evergreens is revered Americana singer-songwriter Suzie Ungerleider's most personal narrative to date. Emerging under her own name in 2021 after retiring from her long-time moniker, Oh Susanna, Ungerleider continues her thrice JUNO-nominated tradition of exquisite storytelling with a record that reflects both where she has been and where she is now.
Divided into two parts, "Then" and "Now," the original album traces songs inspired by the past and the present, as Ungerleider reflects on what it means to be in the middle of life, seeking answers to who she was and who she is now. Her beautifully evocative and atmospheric writing draws listeners into a world that is both intimate and universal, touching on themes of teenagehood, the loss of innocence, love and heartbreak, marriage, motherhood, survival, second chances, fights, forgiveness, and grace.
For the deluxe edition, Ungerleider returns to the heart of these songs, stripping them back to let the lyrics truly shine. Recorded in the south of the Netherlands with renowned Dutch guitarist BJ Baartmans, who also provided accompaniment, the new acoustic versions of ‘Juniper’, ‘Real Estate’, ‘College Street’, and ‘Mount Shasta’ reveal fresh emotional depth, while the collection is rounded out by the stunning new single, ‘Amsterdam’.

John Hollier & The Rêverie Unveil New Single!

Nashville, TN — John Hollier & The Rêverie share their new single, “Somewhere Down the Road,” from their forthcoming album Rainmaker, due March 20, 2026 via Thirty Tigers, while officially launching vinyl + CD pre-orders for Rainmaker.
Originally from Louisiana, the rising singer-songwriter has been relentlessly chasing down not only his unique sound — this searing fusion of rock, soul and alt-country — but also himself in the process. The result is his latest album,Rainmaker, a record showcasing Hollier’s live wire talent and artistic purpose.
When it comes to great stage acts, one of the most difficult things to do is take that you-had-to-be-there energy of one’s live performance and translate that into the studio setting. And yet, this is where the essence of Rainmaker lies — this launching point for what Hollier and his band, The Rêverie, envision. « Onstage, there is pure chemistry, energy, and some magic” Hollier says. It’s special.”
That live wire energy and sonic grit of Rainmaker is no more evident than on the newest single, “Somewhere Down the Road.” With a tone of rolling thunder and lyrics pushing the edge of one’s own sanity, the melody crackles and bursts into this call to the universe for clarity and resolve amid the unknowns of what it takes to chase and hold onto your dreams in real time.
“Been bleeding out my secrets, kicking out the footlights,” Hollier howls. “Empty rooms and last night’s ghosts, honey it’s just how it goes.”
“We wrote and recorded ‘Somewhere Down the Road’ in Nashville,” Hollier says. “It asked for a different approach than what we were used to. It took time to become ours. We finally found the shift with harmonica and acoustic guitars.”
The song offers one of the album’s most reflective moments. “There’s plenty of fire on this record,” Hollier explains, “but this one let some reality seep in. Sometimes it feels like a hopeless mission in a hopeless world. Learning to hold onto memories and moments—that’s what carries you forward.”
* * *
Emerging from rural central Louisiana, Hollier grew up on a crawfish farm in the depths of French-Cajun country. Outside of the usual cultural pillars of football and church, Hollier and his big brother learned to play guitar and sing at an early age. They would perform at church services and family gatherings.
“There was not really a music scene [there], but there were a lot of good musicians,” Hollier recalls. “But, that’s where the initial kind of candle burn began to happen for me, where I started to feel like music was my thing.”
One of those talented local musicians was Hollier’s uncle, who played guitar in a popular Cajun band. And he always left an open invitation to the brothers that if they ever wanted to jump onstage and play with his band, have at it.
“My brother and I could never hang with those Cajun guys,” Hollier chuckles. “They don’t play like country [music] and if they’re good it’s hard to keep up. Especially following the cadence of an accordion.”
But, Hollier wasn’t deterred. When he was onstage, something was sparked, with Hollier continually having these epiphanies while in the midst of a live performance. Out of high school, he started playing with some regional touring acts and began traveling around the U.S. and Canada.
“To be honest, the moment I started writing and performing, I knew this was the only thing I wanted to be doing,” Hollier says. “With a live band, though, you really have to grind. I try to keep this tunnel vision - this is the path, just keep going.”
Eventually, Hollier took off to Nashville to try his luck as a songwriter, maybe even start a group in Music City and see where it would take him. In an effort to fit in and find work, Hollier’s French-Cajun roots began to take a backseat to the modern country sounds echoing out of studios and venues around the city.
“When you move to Nashville, you realize quickly what you’re not, you know?” Hollier says. “And I realized how much my roots mattered to me. But, there’s got to be a way to incorporate that [heritage and feeling] without being a little cheeky or make it feel cringe.”
Cue the formation of John Hollier & The Rêverie. Based on the Old French word “rêver,” which means “to dream,” the band’s name is a purposeful, more so poignant, ode to the definition itself that focuses on “a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts; a daydream.”
“’The Rêverie is a cultural nod,” Hollier says. “But, it’s also about this dreamlike state, this very meditative space like when we’re working on a song and eventually put the words to it, these ethereal pieces that are like a river [flowing].”
With an array of sonic textures, the fiery ensemble weaves effortlessly between the rock, soul and Americana realms, channeling a road-worn energy reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen, Nathaniel Rateliff, and heartland roots music.
And with Rainmaker now on the horizon, Hollier is ready to return to the stage - the place where these songs breathe deepest; a space that John Hollier & The Rêverie inhabit with grace, grit, and gratitude.
“The last thing you want to do is sound like everybody else,” Hollier says. “When you realize what your strengths are, and then you play to your strengths? That’s how you find your sound — that’s what we’re doing.”

Kezia Gill releases new single 'Gut Feeling' and 'All On Red' album ahead of UK tour.
UK HEADLINE TOUR – FEB 2026
Singer/ songwriter and UK country powerhouse, Kezia Gill, has released the new single, ‘Gut Feeling’, taken from her new studio album, ‘All On Red’.
About the track, Kezia says, “The next offering from the 'All On Red' album is a really personal number, born from a situation I found myself in where I had to listen to my inner instinct, against all the odds. That instinct stopped me making a huge mistake, and ultimately led to this entire album being made, so it’s truly a serendipitous track. The moral of the story is that you should ALWAYS listen to that 'Gut Feeling'.”
This single/video follows the release of ‘If Heaven Has a Honkey Tonk’ and ‘Dublin’s Outta Whiskey’, which both garnered major support at UK radio, including Radio 2.
Produced and mixed in Nashville by US artist, Alyssa Bonagura, along with a selection of award-winning musicians, the 11-song ‘All On Red’ is out now on digital release via Snakefarm/Universal with the CD & LP formats following on February 13th (the first time a Kezia record has been pressed onto vinyl, and red vinyl, too!) – available for pre-order here.
‘All On Red’ is a bold new chapter in the career of an artist who continues to secure awards and nominations from multiple bodies allied to the genre, including ‘Entertainer of the Year’ at last year’s British Country Music Association Awards.
Kezia comments, “This is the best album I’ve written; it feels like a body of work that combines the sound and skill of Nashville with what I stand for in terms of storytelling and honesty as a proud British artist. The title of the record encapsulates the process. I went all in... I put it 'All On Red'!”
Drawing on her Celtic heritage — Kezia hails from a musical family of Irish descent — ‘All On Red’ sees one of country’s rising stars hitting the jackpot, so expect heartfelt songwriting, a deep respect for the proud traditions of country music, plus a self-confidence that shines across the record.
It's an album rooted in years of music industry experience, and the culmination of a creative process that draws on blues, Irish folk and Americana just as much as country – traditional and modern. “It’s a Nashville record with a British heart,” insists Kezia, as she describes the genesis of a remarkable album that’s been a lifetime in the making.
The ‘All On Red’ UK headline tour kicks off in February 2026, with Bonagura Special Guesting on all dates. Kezia adds, “It’s gonna be a high energy show – real, raw and rowdy as hell… the only way I know how to be!”

Luke Winslow-King's New Album Due March 27th.

Luke Winslow-King is pleased to announce the forthcoming release of his latest album, Coast of Light, due March 27th via Bloodshot Records. The lead track, “Dangerous Blues”, is out now, the accompanying live video has been premiered by Rock 'n Blues Muse, check it out here.
Luke Winslow-King blends jazz, blues, classical, and folk into a powerful, cinematic sound. With fluid guitar work, fearless songwriting, and gruff yet tender vocals, his music leaves a lasting impression. Highly acclaimed for his brilliant songwriting, producing, and playing, The New York Times has praised his music as it “seamlessly melds Delta blues, gospel and jazz themes with personal, simplified lyrics that speak to his personal and artistic evolution.”
Originally hailing from Cadillac, Michigan, and now living in Spain, Winslow-King’s early influences included Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix, and Carlos Santana. After a short stint studying jazz and classical guitar, he began busking on street corners performing Woody Guthrie songs, fell in love with New Orleans spending the next 15 years honing his craft on street, and developing a lifelong friendship with his musical collaborator, guitarist Roberto Luti.
Winslow-King’s new album Coast of Light looks out over the edges of life, death, failure, hope, and love. It evokes his musical journey reflects how the music of Spain has influenced his writing and producing. The album is dedicated to the experience of going to explore the city of Cadiz on the ‘coast of light’, the Atlantic side of Andalusia, and discovering the beautiful seaside, and the passion for flamenco music there creating an esoteric impressionist version of real life that is so deeply reflected in Spanish art.
The 12 songs on Coast of Light, were co-produced by Winslow-King and Roberto Luti at the Jambona Lab Studios in Livorno, Italy. In addition to Winslow-King on guitar, percussion, and vocals, and Luti on guitar, the album features Simone Luti on bass, Piero Perelli on drums and congas, Nicola Venturini on Hammond organ, Fender Rhodes, and piano and drums, and Giacomo Riggi on mallet percussion.

Winslow-King’s previous albums include Luke Winslow-King (2008), Old/New Baby (2009), The Coming Tide (2013), Everlasting Arms (2014), I’m Glad Trouble Don't Last Always (2016), Blue Mesa (2018), and If These Walls Could Talk (2022). He’s recorded with acclaimed artists such as George Porter Jr., Little Freddy King, and John Boutté. He’s shared the stage with Jack White, Taj Mahal, Rosanne Cash, and many others. His original song "Everlasting Arms" was performed by Dr. John in the 'Playing for Change: Songs Around the World' series on YouTube. His music has been featured on Anderson Cooper Live (CNN), NCIS: New Orleans (CBS), and Deadliest Catch (Discovery).
Luke Winslow-King has toured extensively in North America and Europe, appearing on notable stages such as Austin City Limits, New Orleans JazzFest, Azkena Rock Festival (Spain), Tønder Festival Paradiso (Netherlands), Glastonbury (UK), Byron Bay Blues Fest (AUS), and countless more.
Nine albums in, Winslow-King is still chasing new ground on Coast of Light. It’s his most adventurous record yet, with the band stretching out, taking chances, and leaning further into psychedelic and experimental territory. “We’re playing with more genres and tones than ever before,” he says. “It feels natural, and I’m comfortable here. I hope listeners are ready to come along for the ride.”

Inborn Tendency Releases First Full Length "Let There Be Sin".

After a three year long wait, Inborn Tendency releases their highly anticipated full-length record, “Let There Be Sin.” The band describes the album and its creative process as follows:
"This album is the destination of a very long journey, and at the same time, a new beginning. While the process has been incredibly interesting and inspiring, for a band like ours—working primarily remotely—it has required significant effort. We’ve had to invent new ways of working and change many of our internal practices. From the very beginning, our goal was to create a debut so strong that we wouldn’t have to regret it years down the line. We believe we achieved that goal 100%. With the lessons learned, working on the next album will be a much faster undertaking."
The band worked on the album with producer Juho Koskinen, who was responsible for the production as well as the final mixing and mastering.
"When we decided to start working on the debut in 2023, it became clear after a moment of reflection that we wanted an outside producer to provide fresh perspectives on the songs. We were looking for someone with experience producing music beyond just the metal genre. We happened to find Juho through mutual acquaintances, and that same year we released 'Heritage.' From that point on, it was clear that the entire album would be crafted with this team. Remote work has been a necessity and a natural way for us to operate since the band's early days, so the collaboration with Juho ran smoothly. The singles released so far have received excellent feedback on both production and sound, and we believe the full album will live up to the expectations of both fans and new listeners!"
The cover art for the singles and the final album was created by Henri Tervapuro, an artist from Ostrobothnia.
"We started working with Henri years ago when we released the Godkiller EP. Henri’s style of creating graphics through painting works incredibly well for us; it adds just the right amount of edge and narrative to the songs. Henkka got to listen to the tracks and create the first drafts based on pure intuition. This way of working has been very effective, and Henri’s art often brings new, interesting perspectives to the music."
The band's lyrics and songwriting style have been atmospheric and thought-provoking since their inception. The band has refrained from explaining or opening up the themes of the lyrics, aiming instead to let the listener draw their own conclusions from the stories behind the songs. The band describes the debut album as follows:
"The overarching theme of the album is the inherent sinfulness planted in humans from the womb. The songs' themes lead the listener to face their deepest fears and the evil that resides within every human being. Although the stories draw from Christian tradition, they provoke thought about the nature of evil, regardless of one's personal convictions."
"Something new, something old, something of our own, and something stolen," describes Ville Herranen, who is responsible for the lyrics.

The Harlem-hotshot Solomon Hicks today releases his new album How Did I Ever Get This Blue? via Artone/Provogue. You can stream and order it HERE.
To celebrate, Hicks has revealed the video for his new singleFlyin’ High (Yesterday). He takes on the song by the late-Texan blues singer and guitarist Johnny Copeland - father of Shemekia Copeland. The song was originally released on the album of the same name in 1992.
Talking about the song, Hicks says, “That one, I first heard done by a drummer called Barry Harrison. We were playing B.B. King’s in New York, and I remember Barry coming out with this song. And it felt like putting the key in the car ignition and taking off down a dirt road. The song didn’t really hit me until I got to experience life and those highs and lows. It felt good to play a song from a blues artist like Johnny Copeland that you don’t hear as much, and put that guitar stamp on it.”
Flyin’ High (Yesterday) is the latest single to be taken from the album following Driftin' And Driftin' where Hicks put his own spin on the song popularised by the Paul Butterfield Blues Band on their 1967 album The Resurrection Of Pigboy Crabshaw and Further On Up The Road - made famous by Bobby 'Blue' Bland
The album includes untamed reworkings of Adele's Rumour Has It and Bruno Mars' When I Was Your Man (not to mention Hicks' originals, How Did I Ever Get This Blue and I'm Burnin' Up). Far from a 'covers album', each song unfolds as you've never heard it before. "I'm not looking to copy or recreate sounds from the past," he explains..
Hicks is a thrilling paradox, a sonic contradiction. He's an old-soul roots scholar who salutes ancient musical forms – blues, jazz, soul, funk, gospel – but also a renegade gunslinger here to bend, stretch and scratch them for the modern world. His songs range from earworm originals, past pop covers torn up with electronica and punky riffs, to reignited blues standards that prove how potent this genre still is in the right hands.

Tangerine Dream - The ‘Sessions IV’ LP, deluxe 2LP, 140g translucent green vinyl edition.

Tangerine Dream
The ‘Sessions IV’ LP
Deluxe double LP, 140g translucent green vinyl edition

Invisible Hands Music are proud to release the ‘Sessions IV’ LP on 20th February 2026, as a deluxe double LP, 140g translucent green vinyl.
The Sessions IV LP contains instant live recordings (about 80 minutes of music) from the 2018 Tangerine Dream line-up of Thorsten Quaeschning, Ulrich Strauss and Hoshiko Yamane, recorded at Internet Festival Pisa, Øya Festival Oslo and Way Out West Festival Gothenburg
.
In their imperial years of the 1970s, Tangerine Dream’s live concerts were an electronic exploration, improvised and different every night, with little or no relationship to their smash hit albums, which were similarly esoteric. As the 1980s dawned, their recorded work contained more recognisable themes and they scored some of the biggest films of the decade (Risky Business, Firestarter, Near Dark, Thief, Sorcerer)
.
Now, they are returning in part to those pioneering days, and every show includes a section of improvisation, different every night. The best improvisations are being released as ‘Sessions’, and Invisible Hands Music is proud to release them on deluxe double vinyl mastered at Abbey Road by Miles Showell

Joanne Shaw Taylor Releases Defiant New Single "Hell Or High Water" - A Powerful Blues-Gospel Anthem.

Joanne Shaw Taylor Releases Defiant New Single “Hell Or High Water”
A powerful blues‑gospel anthem confronting inner battles and resilience

British blues‑rock artist Joanne Shaw Taylor returns with a striking new single, “Hell Or High Water,” out today via Journeyman Records. The track finds Joanne channelling resilience, faith, and self‑belief into one of her most emotionally charged recordings to date. “Hell Or High Water is a defiant, soul‑bearing Blues/Gospel anthem about surviving the war inside your own head and refusing to give in,” Joanne shares. “It’s about resilience and self-belief even in the hardest of times.”
From its stark opening moments through its hypnotic rhythmic pulse, “Hell Or High Water” builds an atmosphere steeped in tension and release. Joanne’s raw, blues‑soaked vocal performance carries lyrics that wrestle openly with doubt, temptation, and perseverance.
Lines like “Devil on my shoulder keeps whispering in my ear” and the repeated plea “Lord, don’t let me falter” frame the song as a deeply personal reckoning, grounded in honesty rather than polish. Yet even as it explores darker emotional terrain, the song is instantly catchy - anchored by handclaps, a rolling groove, and a hook that lingers long after the final chorus. Joanne’s searing guitar riffs cut through the track with clarity and conviction, and the solo - equal parts grit and grace - reminds listeners exactly why she’s considered one of today’s most formidable blues guitarists.
The release follows a prolific and creatively rich period for Joanne. Over the past year, she released her acclaimed album Black & Gold, along with a Deluxe Edition featuring stripped‑back acoustic versions of fan favourites including “Hold Of My Heart,” “Grayer Shade Of Blue,” and “Black & Gold.”
The album earned widespread praise, with Classic Rock rating it 9/10, Powerplay Magazine highlighting its “pop appeal and smoothness,” Guitarist Magazine noting that it “reinforces Joanne’s place in the firmament of today’s brightest stars,” and American Blues Scene calling it “a deeply personal experience, showcasing the depth of Joanne’s artistry.”
“Hell Or High Water” offers a first glimpse into a new slate of material Joanne plans to unveil over the coming year. While stylistically rooted in the blues traditions that have defined her career, the song reflects an artist continuing to push herself emotionally and creatively, leaning into vulnerability while maintaining the strength that has become her hallmark.
The new single arrives amid an extensive period of touring. Joanne is about to kick off 2026 with a major UK and European headline tour before returning to the United States for a Spring tour spanning the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, and Florida. Known for her commanding live presence, fiery guitar work, and emotionally immersive performances, Joanne continues to connect powerfully with audiences worldwide.

"An X-Posure hot one.... It is Laptop and "Confused", another taste of the upcoming album, which is going to be called "On This Planet".... sounding so good. Every track from this upcoming album has been sounding fantastic... Really really strong song" ~ John Kennedy, Radio X
"Part psychedelic pop, part alternative dance... Built of post-disco sonic glam, hazy harmonics, seductive synths, and infectious groove" ~ Big Takeover Magazine
"Few artists who emerged in the late ’90s managed to fuse irony, melody, and social awareness with such precision... This is the sound of a legacy that has never stopped listening, never stopped questioning, and never stopped evolving — a legacy that now finds renewed urgency in the present moment. That legacy belongs to NYC alternative pop outfit Laptop" ~ The Spill Magazine
"A witty knowing track with a hooky chorus that carries an important message... an effervescent track about extinction, meat, and the absurd human urge for more, that playfully marries pieces of disco-pop, synth-pop and a splash of new wave" ~ God Is In The TV
NYC alternative pop outfit Laptop presents their new single “Confused” — the emotional and thematic center of their forthcoming album "On This Planet" and their most definitive song to date. Written in response to January 6 (now the 5th anniversary), the track captures the psychological whiplash of watching democratic reality fracture in real time, filtered through the perspective of a man glued to the news, overwhelmed by noise, grievance, spectacle, and historical déjà vu.
Formed in the late ’90s, Laptop released three albums with Island Records with praise from the NME, The Guardian and others for their stylized blend of synth-pop & irony. Now a multi-generational project with Jesse Hartman joined by his son Charlie Hartman, they are not observing the present from a distance. “Confused” is the sound of living inside it — aware of history, aware of danger, and quietly aware that even the people telling us what’s happening may not know what to believe themselves. Yet for all its tension, “Confused” is not humorless. Like much of Laptop’s work, the song is threaded with a dry, unsettling irony — the kind that emerges when reality itself starts to feel absurd.
“‘Confused’ came from the shock of watching January 6 unfold on TV — but the really twisted part is that we’d been in D.C. two days earlier, visiting family, cluelessly being tourists, while staying at the hotel where the lead insurrectionists were actually meeting. We had no idea. But the city felt off — weirdly quiet, strange characters everywhere — like the ’70s version of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". MAGA evangelicals blowing Jewish shofars, that kind of bizarro-ness," says Jesse Hartman.
"Then we went back to New York, life felt normal again for a moment,, and then a day later we were watching the least normal thing I’ve ever seen unfold. The whole family was completely freaked out, especially Lulu. (“Daddy was confused…Now, he’s flown the coop” – or is it coup? - recalling the ghostly children’s chorus of "Another Brick in the Wall”). Once the song got going, it felt obvious she had to be part of it.”
That generational perspective extends to the artwork. The cover image — a stark, almost African-influenced child’s face — was painted by Lulu herself. Rendered with raw simplicity and quiet distress, the image feels ancient and immediate at once. Lulu belongs to a generation that has grown up with Trump, COVID, lockdowns, and permanent crisis — for whom confusion isn’t a moment, but a condition. Like her voice in the track, the artwork doesn’t explain anything. It watches.
Musically, "Confused" is hypnotic and rhythm-driven, built on a circular, Afro-influenced groove that recalls Fela Kuti’s forward momentum filtered through the nervous minimalism of Talking Heads’ "Remain in Light” era. The track accumulates tension rather than releasing it. It openly channels the philosophy of
Compass Point Studios — rhythm as infrastructure, voices as texture, politics embedded in groove rather than announcement. The song keeps moving, even as clarity collapses. And like the other “On This Planet” album tracks, “Confused” was written and produced by Jesse Hartman, which was tracked in Valencia and overdubbed in Nevis, a place the band came to call the inspiration island.
Pushing the song’s themes into visual satire, the music video is framed as a CNN-style news broadcast, with Jesse Hartman as the anchor — calm, youthful, and unsettlingly composed — delivering chaos with the authority of media normalcy. Denise Gordon and Geddys “Ch4se” Ferguson appear as correspondents reporting from distant, vaguely defined locations, their dispatches fragmented and contradictory. Jesse Hartman hovers as an ambiguous figure — part tyrant, part media creation, part projection — never clarified, never resolved. The result isn’t parody so much as a wry, uncomfortable mirror: a world where information, performance, and power blur until belief itself feels optional.
In 2025, Laptop released several singles - "Indie Hero", "Additional Animals", "I Don't Know", and “Weirder”, mixed by Grammy award-winning producer Mario McNulty (David Bowie, Prince, Nine Inch Nails, Julian Lennon), in addition to a Tom Waits holiday cover, collectively drawing millions of views and reintroducing Laptop’s postmodern humor to a new generation.
“Confused” is out on January 23 via Hurricane Cove Records, available on streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp. The much-anticipated "On This Planet" album will be released in Spring 2026.

Brothers Osborne celebrate 10th anniversary of breakout album 'Pawn Shop'.
BROTHERS OSBORNE CELEBRATE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF BREAKOUT ALBUM PAWN SHOP WITH SPECIAL VINYL EDITIONS, NEW RECORDINGS AND PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED MUSIC ON FEBRUARY 13.
'Love The Lonely Out Of You (Live Pinebox Version)' Out Now
GRAMMY®-winning duo Brothers Osborne celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their breakthrough album Pawn Shop with the announcement of Pawn Shop (10 Year Anniversary Edition), arriving February 13 via MCA. Fans can pre-save and pre-order the album HERE. The landmark release honours the album that introduced the duo’s fearless sound and helped reshape modern country music. Rolling Stone called the album a “guaranteed show-stopper” highlighted by John Osborne’s “wickedly improvised solo.”
Originally released in 2016, Pawn Shop marked a defining moment for Brothers Osborne, showcasing their sharp songwriting, musicianship, and refusal to conform to expectations. The album became a cornerstone of their career, producing enduring fan favourites including '21 Summer', 'Stay A Little Longer', 'Rum', 'It Ain’t My Fault', and the title track, while laying the foundation for their rise as one of country music’s most respected and adventurous acts.
Brothers Osborne share 'Love The Lonely Out Of You (Live Pinebox Version)', accompanied by a lyric video recorded in John Osborne’s Pinebox studio, watch HERE. Captured in a single take, the performance strips the song down to its emotional core, highlighting the honesty and songwriting that first connected the duo with fans. The release revisits Pawn Shop through the lens of a band now a decade since its debut—while remaining rooted in the same intensity that defined their early work.

Raivo Jackson blends blues and spaghetti western vibes on new single – debut album out now.

Swimming Under Ice is the third and final single from Raivo Jackson’s debut album Tangled Up in Roots, out now. The track is one of the album’s most swinging cuts, where the band’s blues-infused groove is given extra color by a spaghetti western–inspired atmosphere.
Swimming Under Ice tells the story of a person who falls in with the wrong crowd and loses their way. It’s a tale about how difficult it can be to find a path back to the surface from deep waters. The song leaves the listener wondering whether a way to safety will ultimately be found or whether the character will remain trapped beneath the ice.
Released on Thursday, January 15, Tangled Up in Roots showcases Raivo Jackson’s versatile and narrative-driven expression, where rhythm and melody go hand in hand with strong, evocative moods.
The album will also be released on vinyl on February 13.
Previously released singles from the upcoming album include Fire Song Revisited and Babes in the Woods.

Danny George Wilson - New album 'Arcade' out on 20th March - Hear new single 'Distant Seasons'.

Danny George Wilson releases his new album 'Arcade' on 20th March via Loose Music. 'Distant Seasons', the first single to be taken from the album, is available now.
"It’s a song about an imagined return. There’s a wonderfully melancholic string section and arrangement (by producer Hamish Benjamin), which is something of a theme throughout the album. As is the case with the new album, it’s about losing people, time & place. Sonically, it’s both rootsy and experimental…a kind of altered earthiness”.
HEAR NEW SINGLE 'DISTANT SEASONS' HERE
WATCH 'DISTANT SEASONS' VIDEO HERE
'Arcade' finds Danny George Wilson returning to Hamish Benjamin’s studio in East Sussex - five years on from his startling, post-lockdown solo album Another Place – to construct its sequel. With Lewes-based Benjamin and right-hand man Henry Garratt, again given free rein, 'Arcade' presents a fresh collection of sonically inventive, deeply romantic songs, with atmosphere taking primacy over meaning, and narrative dissolving. As Wilson tells it:
“The songs are about the ways we deal with losing people, time, place, or don’t deal with it… Looking back, we discover what was always there, or things that are just easier to ignore - different and contradictory perspectives. And I wanted a chance to work with Hamish and Henry again, and this seemed like their thing, and it was”.
Traditional instrumentation meets technology; the majority of tracks feature a string quartet, while Benjamin and Garratt employ synthesiser and mellotron along with a plethora of guitars. Gerry Love again provides backing vocals with cameos from Emma Tricca and Annie Dressner. Fragile, tender, full of uncertainty, ultimately 'Arcade' is a song-cycle in which the premise of each track subverts the previous, and demonstrates most assuredly, we still move in doubt.

Brother Wallace - Debut album 'Electric Love' out 8 May - Hear/watch new single - Debut UK live dates in May.

BROTHER WALLACE ANNOUNCES DEBUT ALBUM 'ELECTRIC LOVE'
OUT 8 MAY ON ATO RECORDS
PRODUCED/CO-WRITTEN WITH DAN TAYLOR (THE HEAVY)
SHARES TITLE TRACK AND OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO
UK LIVE DEBUT IN MAY AT THE GREAT ESCAPE AND CROSS THE TRACKS FESTIVAL
Some artists spend their whole lives getting ready for the moment the world finally hears them. Brother Wallace is one of them. Today, the West Point, Georgia-bred singer, pianist, and soul revivalist announces his debut album 'Electric Love', out on 8th May via ATO Records, and shares the album’s title track—a Motown-esque number that’s equal parts playful, revelatory, and gloriously cathartic—alongside an official music video.
The track, which has been premiered by The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on BBC Radio 6 Music, is a bold first chapter from a voice that feels less like a “new artist” and more like a force that’s been building quietly for years, waiting for the right voltage.
On “Electric Love,” Brother Wallace doesn’t just sing about joy—he fights for it. The song moves like a shot of sunlight through a storm cloud: Stax-and-satin soul, piano-driven, and bursting with momentum, it’s built for the exact moment when you decide you’re not going to let the world harden you. “It’s about choosing connection,” Wallace says. “Finding that current again—the thing that reminds you you’re alive.”

WATCH 'ELECTRIC LOVE' VIDEO, DIRECTED BY WILL WALTER
Raised in a small rural town where the church was both community and classroom, Wallace began singing early and started formal piano training at six years old. By 14, he was directing a 100-member choir—leading not from ambition, but from instinct. Music wasn’t extracurricular; it was identity. Still, his path didn’t follow the typical industry arc. Wallace built a life at the intersection of art and service, becoming a K–12 music teacher and shaping young voices day after day, even as his own kept growing into something undeniable.
Over time, that “teacher” story expanded into something bigger, including sharing the stage with gospel legend Kirk Franklin performing at Madison Square Garden. But it wasn’t until a chance meeting sparked a creative partnership—one that stretched across years and continents—that Brother Wallace’s vision began assembling into the album it was always meant to become.
That partnership was with Dan Taylor (The Heavy), who became not just a collaborator but a catalyst. Recorded at Real World Studios (the legendary facility founded by Peter Gabriel) and produced/co-written by Taylor, Electric Love captures the breathless immediacy of Wallace’s performances—engineered and mixed by Bob Mackenzie (James Blake, The 1975, King Krule, SAULT) and Jim Abbiss (Adele, Arctic Monkeys). The result is soul music that feels alive in your hands: gritty, radiant, and built around the kind of vocal that turns rooms silent before it turns them inside out.
Across its 13 songs, Electric Love is less a debut than a revelation—a body of work fueled by gospel roots and classic soul lineage (Sam Cooke, Little Richard, Southern soul greats) while refusing to live in nostalgia. Wallace writes in lived-in scenes and hard-earned feeling: heartbreak without defeat, joy without naïveté, vulnerability without apology. The album’s rhapsodic opener “Who’s That?” (released last fall as his first ATO single) entered the Top 30 at Triple A radio in the US for the first time this week—an amazing feat for his first-ever single. Now, the title track “Electric Love” expands the frame: this is an artist building a world where joy is radical, and connection is survival. Now, the title track “Electric Love” expands the frame: this is an artist building a world where joy is radical, and connection is survival.
This spring, Brother Wallace will bring that world to the stage, first supporting St. Paul & The Broken Bones on his first-ever US tour, then heading to the UK to play The Great Escape and Cross The Lines Festival.
For Brother Wallace, 'Electric Love' isn’t just a record. It’s proof of concept: a lifetime of music, faith, teaching, and grit distilled into something that hits like lightning—then stays.

"Cool, funky basslines and female vocals that move the sound into a melodic punk style characteristic of The Go-Go’s. The song’s raw attraction comes from its intentional lo-fi, DIY late-70s punk sound, with a rough production that feels alive and uncensored. It’s punky, scrappy, and full of personality, a street-spirited hymn that celebrates both chaos and joy" ~ Skylight Webzine
Pennsylvania outfit Robin Ross & The Melodynes welcome the new year with their new single 'Echo of Love', a rhythmic exercise in romantic resonance that captures the high-frequency hum of two souls colliding in perfect, melodic symmetry. A shimmering anthem of sonic intimacy, Ross frames true love as a permanent vibration—one that holds its ground long after the music stops.
This is the second offering from the band's sophomore 'Mind Space' album, forthcoming via RPM Entertainment, which was recorded at Baa Baa Leaf Music Studio on the Mountain in Milford, Pennsylvania. Ross produced and engineered this album, along with famed engineer Jonathan Duckett (Phillip Glass, Kenny G, David Sanborn).
"This is a song based on a very melodic rhythm that moves in sync with the echo of love. Love takes two to bounce feelings back and forth within your heart. Echoes from both hearts bounce until their rhythm collides and creates balance," says Robin Ross.
"Echoes far and near keep us together and will never be apart. You feel it when we hug, you feel it when I look at you. Vibrations keep us strong. Even when you are not around, the echoes vibrate our ground. Like two doves above, so is the Echo of Love."
Robin Ross & The Melodynes is not just about music - it's about big fun between like-minded artists, including Wharton Tiers, JoJo Ellen Gaetani, Katlyn Albrecht, Nancy Isola, TW Howell, Emery Rhodes, Joe (Bass) Torres and Tony Anniello. Their collective good vibes cannot help but seep into the music, carrying over to their listeners.
Earlier, the band shared the lead track 'Spill No Mo Wine', a fun-loving single born from a high-spirited gathering on Lake Huron. In the spirit of The B-52s and The Pretenders, this single flies straight from the bottle right to your dancing feet, capturing the energetic atmosphere of friendship and celebration, using a humorous mishap to explore resilience when life's plans briefly spill out of control.
With musical roots in New Jersey and New York dating back to 1988, Robin Ross has established himself in the bustling artistic community of Milford, PA, A musician, songwriter, and producer with diverse musical endeavours spanning over three decades, he has released numerous albums and played a pivotal role in creating several recording studios, including Triple R Studios and Sound Complex near NYC. Ross' current recording studio, Baa Baa Leaf Music Studio, continues to expand.
In 2025, Ross released 'Back To The Forest', the debut EP as Robin Ross & The TW Howlers, a songwriting project with storied folk-rock artist TW Howell, which received critical acclaim and airplay in dozens of countries.
In the early 1990s, Robin co-founded Laughing Jack, later rebranded as Jack’s Maze, acclaimed for a progressive rock sound reminiscent of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Alas, life and business took him in a different direction. In 2021, Robin embarked on building Baa Baa Leaf Music Studio and also regrouped with Jack's Maze members Frank Cinquegrana, Scott Cowan, and Joe Torres to create new progressive rock albums. The Forecast is predicting a new Jack's Maze album later in 2026.
As of January 20, 'Echo of Love' is available from fine digital platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and Bandcamp. The full 'Mind Space' album will be released on February 20.

Orianthi’s latest single "Attention” is available on all streaming platforms HERE. Watch the official music video for “Attention” on YouTube HERE.
Though the lyrics of Orianthi’s latest fiery, kick-ass single “Attention,” exposes an annoying ex-lover’s habit of drunk texting to rile up her cooled passions, its title, on a deeper level makes us think about the kind of attention we’ve been paying to the singer/songwriter and virtuoso electric guitarist over the past 20 years.
Seems nothing can ever be written about the multi-talented veteran artist without mentioning her collaborations with Alice Cooper, Dave Stewart and Richie Sambora, and the fact that Michael Jackson hired her for his London performances the year of his untimely death.
Equal “Attention” should also be paid to her success as an artist in her own right, starting with her Top 20 Billboard pop hit “According to You” and gold-selling Geffen album Believe, released in 2009. While playing with legends over the years, she has continued to build her discography with numerous albums on different labels.
Orianthi’s prolific streak of stylistically diverse singles from the new album include “First Time Blues” feat. Joe Bonamassa, “Ghost” and “Some Kind of Feeling.” They exemplify an exciting new phase of her solo career, an era of exciting creativity and powerhouse contemporary rock and roll.

Spencer Mackenzie releases a reimagining of the Rory Gallagher classic "Don't Know Where I'm Going".

SPENCER MACKENZIE
NEW SINGLE – "DON'T KNOW WHERE I'M GOING"
RELEASED FRIDAY JANUARY 16, 2026
STREAM SINGLE | YOUTUBE AUDIO
NEW STUDIO ALBUM – "EMPTY CHAIRS"
RELEASED FRIDAY FEBRUARY 20, 2026
PRE-ORDER CD & VINYL | PRE-SAVE DIGITAL
JUNO nominated and Maple Blues Award winner Spencer Mackenzie releases his fourth single “Don’t Know Where I’m Going” from his upcoming studio album Empty Chairs. The single is available from Friday January 16th on all available platforms HERE, and YouTube.
Spencer cranks up the volume and intensity with a bold new release, delivering a deep, gritty guitar tone and an electrifying, fast-moving rhythm section in his rendition of Rory Gallagher’s acoustic classic, “Don’t Know Where I’m Going.” Reimagined with raw energy and modern edge, the track highlights Mackenzie’s signature blues-rock fire while honouring the spirit of the original. With this release, Mackenzie continues to build momentum toward the highly anticipated upcoming album.
Mackenzie’s new album Empty Chairs will be released by Gypsy Soul Records on February 20th, 2026. The album is produced by 2X Juno nominated producer, mixer and engineer and Emmy Award winning recording mixer Ross Hayes Citrullo, the guitarist of The Commoners.
Spencer's passion for the genre deepens as he explores the works of blues legends while simultaneously being influenced by the bold energy of renowned present-day blues rockers in this highly anticipated new album. This fusion of styles along with Spencer's unique sound in his new upcoming album Empty Chairs embodies this gritty, introspective style with electrifying guitar, punchy riffs, soaring organ, dynamic vocals, and an explosive rhythm section.
With his fluid phrasing, resonant tone, and expressive performances, one could believe Spencer Mackenzie was born on Beale Street. That, however, would be wrong. The lauded JUNO-nominated blues-rock artist hails from Southern Ontario and has steadily earned accolades, and the attention of blues aficionados from around the world. Leaving nothing behind when he steps to the stage, Mackenzie offers show goers a powerhouse performance, commanding his guitar with sophistication and prowess beyond his years.
For nearly a decade, Maple Blues Award winner Spencer Mackenzie has been writing and recording true blues, highlighting the raw emotion and honesty the genre demands. There’s a familiarity and ease with which he approaches the music, as though it flows through rather than from him. The energy of his work is infectious, permeating through the listener until they, too, feel the heartbeat of the blues.
Mackenzie's high-energy, captivating performance is one that grabs the audience from the moment the first note is played. With numerous Canadian, European, and US shows performed, some of his most notable performances include the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Festival d'été de Quebec, Moulin Blues Ospel, Ribs & Blues Raalte and Kulturring Schöppingen Blues Festival alongside acts such as Walter Trout, Fantastic Negrito, Samantha Fish and Jesse Dayton, just to name a few. With an electrifying presence and his new album on the horizon, this left-handed guitar slinger shows no signs of slowing down, delivering performances that leaves the audience buzzing long after the final note.
"The proof, as someone once said, is in the pudding, and Mackenzie is not only
a mean guitarist with a throaty and surprisingly mature voice, but he has an obvious
innate feel for the blues that some players spend a lifetime not connecting to."
– Shane Pinnagar, 100 Percent Rock Magazine (US)
"At 25, Spencer Mackenzie celebrates his first nomination at the Junos for his album Preach To My Soul. He seduces with his powerful voice and expressive guitar playing."
– Sors-Tu Festival d'été de Québec
"Spencer Mackenzie was compared to a young Joe Bonamassa during his introduction – putting undue pressure on him – but in many ways, the comparison fit: His voice is similarly bright and like Joe, Mackenzie’s guitar playing, drawing on the past legends of the blues genre, reveals him as a torchbearer." – Vincent Abbate 30th Schöppingen International Blues Festival Schöppingen (Germany)
"This music will make you feel something, maybe even grab you and shove you up
against the wall. This feels like the beginning of something big, maybe even huge."
– Gonzo Okanagan (Canada)
“His guitar playing, both on Gibson and Fender is equally astonishing. Now that’s so many greats in the genre have already passed away it is very refreshing to hear that such a youngster continues the tradition so richly and passionately.”
– OOR Magazine (The Netherlands)
Empty Chairs is just that, the fusion of styles along with Spencer's unique sound while simultaneously influenced by the bold energy of renowned present-day blues rockers embodies this gritty, introspective style with electrifying guitar.
As previously mentioned, the new album is produced by Ross Hayes Citrullo, a 2X JUNO Award–nominee and Emmy Award winner. With a career defined by passion and creativity, Ross has earned multiple accolades for his work on albums that have topped charts and garnered millions of streams worldwide.
Citrullo’s distinctive approach to production blends artistry with technical mastery, bringing out the best in every project he touches. Now, Ross brings this wealth of experience and vision to this new album, infusing it with the same energy and dedication that has made his previous work celebrated worldwide.
“What we caught on this album is honesty and fire,” says Citrullo. “Spencer’s playing is fearless, his voice wide open, and every take breathes like a live show you don’t want to end. Producing it was about chasing moments you can’t fake—tone that tells the truth, stories that cut deep, and performances that live in the room. It’s the blues, lit up with a rock edge—hitting with modern bite and a timeless feel.”

ALBUM TRACK BY TRACK
1 – Empty Chairs
A soulful blues rock song that expresses anger and frustration from the perspective of friends and families, who have lost innocent people they love due to gun violence. This can't be the new normal! It's got to change!
2 – Trip
An upbeat, guitar heavy anthem for the people who just want to be noticed and for people who are crying and screaming trying to get out! Whether it’s a dream or reality, let's go on a trip!
3 – What You Do
When we say that we’re fine. Are we really? Or are we just trying to save others over ourselves? ‘What You Do’ is a high energy blues rock song that's meant to bring your attention to the guessing game we all play.
4 – Don’t Know Where I’m Going
A nod to one of the greatest guitar players to ever do it, this rendition of Gallagher's acoustic blues folk number cranks up the volume and takes you down a road with deep, gritty guitar and an exciting fast rhythm section.
5 – Till I Get to You
All the pressure you carry is lifted when you get to the one you love with this soulful acoustic style song about the person that is always there for you, understands you, gets you, and helps you through it all.
6 – Frozen Hearts
This heavy blues rock song is a tribute to the victims of residential schools, who were taken from their way of life, family, culture and stripped of their identity. May the story of the ones who never made it home forever be heard and remind us to carry their memory with love and respect.
7 – Helping Hands
In life there are people who only do something because it benefits them. Sometimes they are the closest to us. "Helping Hands" is a funky blues rock song about moving on from the person that thinks you need them, but they need you more than you need them!
8 – Why
You can do the best job you can, but for someone who doesn't know themselves, it often becomes a thankless job. "Why" is a sad song filled with soulful licks and harmonies that's about doing everything right and getting hurt in return. You can solve all their problems just to be thrown out and left behind wondering why.
9 – Shoot Me Down
How can you hold up both ends if you're the only one? A relationship has two sides. This bare bones slide guitar song is about coming up with every idea for someone, them saying no, then never telling you what they really want. You can’t spend your life making up someone else's mind if all they do is shoot you down.
10 – You Won’t Find Her
It’s not you, it's all me. We both know that's a lie. This heavy riff driven blues rock song leaves you questioning how someone you once loved could go so wrong. You're left confused, searching for answers, until you finally realize you're better off without them."
11 – Evil
No matter how many people tell you to stay away or tell you, you're wrong, sometimes we won’t listen, and we find out for ourselves. "Evil" is a song with a punchy rhythm section and an in-your-face guitar sound, that's about learning how much someone can twist your mind or how blind love can really be.

THUNDER
THE LEGENDARY LIVE ALBUM IS BACK – AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME ON VINYL AND DIGITAL, “LIVE” IS OUT NOW
THUNDER – LIVE can be ordered HERE

British rock legends THUNDER return with a definitive live statement as their iconic 1998 album LIVE is released today in a newly remastered edition. Available now on vinyl, digitally, and as a deluxe digipak, this release captures the band at a pivotal moment in their career and restores the full force of their electrifying stage power with contemporary sonic clarity. As part of the release, the band is also presenting the video for a fan favourite “The Only One,” offering a fresh visual companion that you can watch HERE.
Originally recorded in 1997, LIVE documented THUNDER during a period of renewal and momentum. The album stands as a raw, unfiltered snapshot of a band firing on all cylinders—fuelled by towering riffs, blues-infused grooves, and the unmistakable voice of Danny Bowes, alongside the masterful songwriting and guitar work of Luke Morley. The remastered edition breathes new life into these performances, amplifying the immediacy and intensity that made the original release such a fan favourite.
Formed in the late 1980s, THUNDER have long been one of the most enduring and respected names in British hard rock. Their ability to blend classic rock traditions with arena-sized hooks and soulful authenticity has earned them a fiercely loyal global following. LIVE perfectly encapsulates this identity—powerful yet heartfelt, polished yet spontaneous.
The recordings also mark the arrival of Chris Childs, who joined the band shortly before these shows and has remained a cornerstone of the lineup ever since. The performances crackle with energy and interaction, featuring extended solos, unrehearsed moments, and a palpable connection with the audience. This is not a staged live album—it’s the sound of a band living in the moment.
Remastered in 2025 with great care and respect for the original recordings, this edition faithfully preserves the grit and drive of the performances while delivering enhanced depth and clarity. Released by earMUSIC, it serves both as a tribute to an essential chapter in THUNDER’s history and as an invitation for new listeners to experience the band’s legendary live power.
Spanning 22 tracks, LIVE delivers an abundance of classic material including “Love Walked In,” “Dirty Love,” and many more fan favourites. Bonus content includes additional acoustic and studio recordings, offering further insight into the band’s versatility and musicianship.

"Both jarring and exhilarating... powerful and anthemic. Mind blown!" ~ The Spill Magazine
"Mathy rock ornateness, sub-metal weight, and prog-infused punk— the perfect attraction of opposites. But stand back a bit and contemplate further, and you will find pop infectiousness, classical grace, and even hardcore aggression all working in harmony" ~ Big Takeover Magazine
"Art / alt rock with varied twists of punk, chamber pop, new wave, experimental rock and more besides, there is never a predictable moment in sound or design" ~ Black Noise Zine
Serving as a bridge towards their full-length album 'Dandy Variances' album, out later this year via Records, Man Records, genre-defying NYC outfit Ecce Shnak deliberately revisit 'Katy's Wart', a hidden gem from their 2019 'Joke Oso' album (full name 'Dingleberry IV, Finale: Katy's Wart'). Telling a visceral tale of justice, the new video introduces a cruel madman, who finally meets his end at the hands of five purple goddesses of righteous vengeance.
A blistering indictment of bigotry and cruelty, this surreal narrative was brought to life through a collaboration with some of the industry’s most innovative creative minds. The project’s striking visual identity is the work of the production-direction team of Hollye Bynum and Sam Owens, as well as the band’s own David Roush. The eery and mind-boggling animation was crafted by the industry titans at Titmouse Productions.
The story is presented in two formats: as a three-minute 'Animated Music Feelm Version', and an immersive ten-minute 'Extended Feelm Version' with a dramatic backstory that builds tension and context, centered on a well-dressed maniac lacking basic human dignity, whose harmful acts finally trigger a cosmic intervention. The heroic twin sisters, played by Rachael Rae Robertson and Rebecca Robertson, ultimately fend him off with the help of otherworldly agents of chaotic justice. In a supernatural animated turning point, five spirits are conjured to deliver him a dose of instant karma.
Based in New York City, Ecce Shnak (pronounced Eh-kay sh-knock) is made up of David Roush (composer, bassist and one of two singers), Bella Komodromos (vocals), Chris Krasnow (guitar), Gannon Ferrell (guitar), and Henry Buchanan-Vaughn (drums). With this high-fidelity animation, 'Katy’s Wart' is now a definitive piece of Ecce Shnak lore, bridging their historical catalogue with their ambitious future. In revisiting this slept-on art, they are clearing the path for new music and film works.
2025 was a massive year for Ecce Shnak that saw the spring release of their 'Shadows Grow Fangs' EP, which was recorded and produced by Jeff Lucci, mixed by Nicholas Vernhes (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Wild Nothing, The War on Drugs) and mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, The Weeknd, Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend).
They also released their live 'Backroom Sessions' EP and two club anthems - the Bladerunner-esque 'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy (Kill Em Mix)' with German DJ-producer Eskei83 and the buoyant 'Prayer On Love (Madison Mars Remix)', in collaboration with world-famous DJ-producer Madison Mars.
After touring the USA with platinum-selling legends Spacehog and EMF, Ecce Shnak also features on the EMF single 'LGBTQ+ Lover', an epic indie dance track that offers a safe space for the marginalized queer community, the video footage for which was filmed during their recent joint tour.
'Katy's Wart' can be found on digital music platforms, including Spotify, and Apple Music. Ecce Shnak's new album 'Dandy Variances' will be released later this year via Records, Man Records. New live dates will be announced soon.

LYRICS
A girl should know it in her heart that her fella abides her always.
Never chiding, always providing,
She should delight in things that are commensurate to her:
Nature and ability, Station and aptitude
And her transcendent graceliness.
Ever-abiding in charms and pleasantries...
Always consoling, always condoning...
Never untidy, never untimely...
Never vituperating, never obfuscating...
Never berating nor defecating...
And all these are a matter of easy regimen, even earthly instinct.
Just make him feel like a teddy bear, getting cuddled all the time,
because the Father's word is the only word

"Immediately evokes the distinctive sounds of Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Joanna Newsom and Julia Holter, yet her own voice shines through with unique character... mesmerizing and fabulously dramatic, marked by a timbre and delivery so attention-grabbing they inspire goosebumps" ~ The Spill Magazine
"More than a distant echo of the fabulous Kate Bush in its sonic DNA... As debuts go, this is spectacular, the calling card for a very special artist" ~ Big Takeover Magazine
"Unique and powerful individuality... every word and breath conveys passion and descriptive revelation, the music embracing each lyric with melodic relish and dramatic flair" ~ Ringmaster Review
Alternative pop artist Celeste Corsano is back to greet 2026 with a new track, called 'Space', a lyrical exploration of the "middle ground", where the ego is surrendered in favor of genuine connection and the sixth in a stellar series released via Montclair, New Jersey-based Magic Door Record Label.
Produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Ray Ketchem (Guided by Voices, Elk City, Luna, Gramercy Arms) at Magic Door Recording Studio, this song involves contributions by James Mastro (The Bongos, Mott the Hoople, Ian Hunter, Patti Smith, John Cale) and David Nagler (Nova Social, Joan Baez, Aaron Neville, Rosanne Cash, Yo La Tengo).
As with previous singles, her brother Chris Corsano (Björk, Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore) contributed the cover artwork. The track’s philosophy is mirrored in its sonic architecture with a soundscape where the production allows the arrangement to breathe, much like the negative space in a masterpiece. With a sound that feels open and uncluttered, Corsano offers a fresh perspective on the value of intellectual and emotional openness.
"I love the kind of old Bowie feel of this song which was enhanced by the production with the keyboard effects, James Mastro's electric guitar work and David Nagler's acoustic guitar work," says Celeste Corsano.
Rather than fighting for the last word, 'Space' invites us to leave room for listening and change, viewing vulnerability as a catalyst for deeper relationships. Corsano posits that a gentle approach carries more weight than force, much like a feather outlasting a heavy hand. By letting go of the need to "win," we create a sanctuary for understanding to grow and for the subtle, internal forces of love to take hold.
"I'm a person who may argue a point, but also reserve the right to change my mind mid-debate or after a time and say 'hey you're right' or 'I agree with your outlook.' I dislike having an argument based on the outcome of who will be right... "There in the space where no one wins"...where we can find a common ground and move forward...so much more productive. Take your 'self', your pride, fear, or fear of being wrong out of the argument and we learn so much more about who we are and the other person too and the world. In the space that seems 'empty or non profitable' can be the most useful," says Corsano.
"Visual art often uses negative space and it can be the most impactful within its' composition. Also in the Tao Te Ching, Chapter 23, "The Uses of Not' speaks on 'uselessness' or emptiness; "Hollowed-out clay makes a pot. Where the pot is not is where it is useful". It speaks about the aspects of nothingness, in a pot and says the most useful part of it isn't the sides or the handle etc., but the empty space.... In science, space is thought to be empty or an entity if you read about it."
Based in Milford, Pennsylvania (on the border with New Jersey), Corsano's compositions merge introspective writing with audacious arrangements, employing complex rhythmic structures and a vast emotional spectrum that ranges from ethereal contemplation to unbridled energy. Evoking comparisons to such artists as Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Lene Lovich and Julia Holter, her unique persona shines brightly, establishing Corsano as an artist whose intensity and distinctive timbre are truly mesmerizing.
Corsano blazed through 2025 with a string of diverse singles, the latest being 'Shellfish'. Following her initial offerings 'Nightbird' and 'Sunlight Gazing', her singles 'Stuck' and 'XS' were accompanied by animated videos, created by Brother JT. Her fearless storytelling achieves a deeper, more candid truth through the natural application of asymmetric meters and vocal coloring. With disarming sincerity and vulnerability, her messages also resonate with a collective human experience.
Celeste's artistry is inspired by her brothers - percussionist Chris Corsano and Latin roots musician Tony Corsano. Starting off in NYC's music scene, she was inspired by punk, new wave, poetry and art, not to mention countless studio sessions with ex-husband Brad Morrison (producer and Absolute A-Go-Go Records founder), working with the likes of Phish, the Figgs and Spiral Jetty. Initially performing Celtic and Bluegrass, she eventually began writing music rooted in the alternative music scene.
As of January 15th, 'Space' is available from fine online music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp, where all releases from her blossoming discography can also be found.

Son Little - New album 'CITYFOLK' out 20 March - New single out now - London show in April.
SON LITTLE ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM ‘CITYFOLK’ OUT 20 MARCH
AN EXPLORATION OF SOUTHERN ROOTS, CO-PRODUCED WITH BEN TANNER (ALABAMA SHAKES)
NEW TRACK 'BE BETTER' OUT NOW
EUROPEAN TOUR IN APRIL, INCLUDING LONDON'S JAZZ CAFE ON 22 APRIL

"The magic at the heart of Son Little‘s music is the way so many of his songs could be standards, but none of them could have come from anyone else” Afropunk
“Son Little is one of the best songwriters working today. He’s honest, unique, thorough, and subtly elaborate. His voice slinks in through the spheres and suddenly he’s inside your soul, telling you the lay of the land”
American Songwriter
Son Little announces ‘CITYFOLK’, his fourth album and first since 2022. Although Little is often placed in the category of “roots musician”, ‘CITYFOLK’ defies genre and lets the evocation of his storytelling pierce through.
“The industry likes to keep artists in little boxes, and for Black artists it has meant being defined by your proximity to ‘urban,’” Little admits. “But my music has always had flashes of country, rock and folk, as well as hip-hop, blues and R&B. So I've always struggled as an artist who kind of, I think, lives in the spaces between genres.”
With today’s album announcement comes 'Be Better', a track that is perfectly apt for the start of a new year. A song about release, resilience, and the quiet power of self-belief, 'Be Better' sheds the weight of old stories and broken expectations, trading despair for movement and renewal; it’s a hymn for transformation, challenging anyone ready to leave the past behind to step forward, even when the road ahead is dark.
LISTEN TO 'BE BETTER' ON YOUTUBE AND SPOTIFY
Now living outside of Atlanta, Livingston attributes the development of ‘CITYFOLK’ to going even further south to record in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, in January 2025. It was there that Little connected with Ben Tanner, a two-time Grammy-winning musician, Alabama Shakes band member and producer of St. Paul & The Broken Bones, John Paul White, Foy Vance and more, to flesh out sketches of songs that he’d crafted through epiphanies about his family’s roots. Already having an understanding of his father’s side, Little views his maternal line as a “mystery unfolding,” but it was in Shoals that the stars aligned, both through retracing his history and formulating an organic chemistry with Tanner.
While assisting with shaping Little's narrative, Tanner says that working with him has driven him to adopt a percussive and multi-layered element to his own music. “There's lots of hip-hop influence and more modern R&B as well as indie rock; I think the musicality that he's bringing to being like a singer-songwriter is unique and different from anybody I'm really aware of.”
Before immersing himself in the home studio of Tanner’s home in Shoals, Little recorded voice note demos with subtle instrumentation that became the album’s framework. The acoustic demos would soon be mixed with drum machine beats before evolving into live material with contributions from a drummer, bassist and horn players. Jam sessions fully brought ‘CITYFOLK’ into existence, while the unchanging southern comfort and musical richness of Shoals remained a backdrop to the album’s hymnal stew. In the late 1960s, the Muscle Shoals Sound Studios housed unbridling protest anthems and melodious love songs that would become the classics of tomorrow. Little’s ‘CITYFOLK’ is a relic in the musical path paved for him.
“Its whole reputation and businesses are thriving because of the spirit of unity,” Little says of the small Alabama town. “I mean, it's all due to music that was created in defiance of that legacy. It's a place that I think really is a symbol of what can be accomplished when those barriers are broken down.”
A few weeks after album release, Little will begin a European run of dates on April 7th; all upcoming dates are listed below.

The Sicilian guitar savant Matteo Mancuso has announced details of his new album Route 96, which will be released on 24 April via Music Theories Recordings. The album features appearances from Steve Vai, Antone Boyer and Valeriy Stepanov. He has also revealed the official video for Isla Feliz featuring the Gypsy Jazz whirlwind Antoine Boyer, which you can watch HERE.
Matteo will also be playing the following shows in the UK:
13 May - Glasgow - Oran Mor
14 May - London - Islington Assembly Hall
The Rara Avis - “rare bird” in Latin - burst on the scene in 2023 with his debut album The Journey after his prodigious ability caught the attention of the likes of Tosin Abasi, Al Di Meola, Dweezil Zappa and Steve Vai. The release of his debut with its perfect storm of dazzling fingerstyle technique and beautifully crafted compositions saw him adorn the front covers of multiple Guitar magazines, being hailed as the “world’s hottest virtuoso,” “the young guitarist redefining virtuosity,” and saw his international touring take flight with sold-out shows across Europe and the US.
This year, the 29-year-old Palermo, Sicily-based Mancuso returns with his second solo album, Route 96. While his debut was made over the course of three years, this latest release was written and recorded to a much faster timeline, as is often the case with sophomore records.
“I had to squeeze it all into 2025,” he explains. “Everything you hear on the album was recorded last year. “It was so much faster, and I think it was for the best, because the album came out more homogeneous and uniform. Every tune is different, of course, but there are also some sonic qualities that are very similar”.
“This album has come at the right time. I want to have a busy 2026 in terms of tours, but I don’t want to perform the songs from the debut album. I wanted something newer and fresher. These ideas are more original and melodically stronger. There are more explorations, harmonically speaking. I think it shows who I am musically a lot better.”
Perhaps the biggest difference between the debut and Route 96 is the musical confidence on display. The concepts are more orchestrated and developed, with Mancuso showing no shortage of creative wind in the sails. As he goes on to explain, the first album was mainly arranged in a rehearsal room, working out the structure and flow of Mancuso’s music in real-time. This time, the process was much more streamlined.
Route 66 features Matteo alongside Riccardo Oliva (bass) and Gianluca Pellerito (drums) and was recorded at Fico D’India Studios in Casteldaccia, Italy and produced by Matteo along with his father Vincenzo Mancuso. The first song to be released from the album features Antoine Boyer, who brings his gypsy jazz feel to the track Isla Feliz.
Talking about the song, he says, “This is the first official video from my upcoming album Route 96. Isla Feliz is the first tune I wrote for the new record. I wanted to write something Latin-influenced using classical guitar, but I ended up using distortion as well. I had the privilege to collaborate with one of the most talented and brilliant players we have in our galaxy Mr. Antoine Boyer! We really had a great time together, and his contribution to the piece completely changed the tune in a wonderful way! Thank you so much, Antoine, for your amazing work! Thank you as always to my groove overlords Gianluca Pellerito and Riccardo Oliva. As you can see in the official video, we had the opportunity to shoot at this beautiful location, “Real Teatro Santa Cecilia” in Palermo, a huge thank you to Fondazione Orchestra Jazz Siciliana, Presidente Ignazio Garsia, Direttore artistico Luca Luzzu, Real Teatro Santa Cecilia and Direttore Fabio Lannino. Thank you also to my fellow Video makers Filippo Silvestris and Pierluigi Ferrandini.”
Elsewhere, Solar Wind features a guest spot from multiple Grammy winner and instrumental guitar mastermind Steve Vai. Then there’s Warm Sunset – a love-letter to the guitarist’s Latin influences – and Fire And Harmony, which Mancuso describes as the longest and most intense track on the album with more parts and sections than anything he’s recorded in the past.
One of the big differences between Mancuso and the large majority of his peers is his musical open-mindedness. He’s the kind of player who can not only exist but thrive in a variety of different styles
There are many reasons for the young musician to feel proud of album number two – named after his year of birth, as well as the 96kHz audio sample rate Steve Vai recommended him to record at. With a busy year of touring ahead, he’s excited to be bringing this new music to stages around the world.
“I think I know myself better musically thanks to this album,” he admits. “I did go through a process of eliminating things, and through that I realised more about the things I liked best about the music I compose and hear. The first album was made when I was studying a lot of things. Now I study less but listen more to just the music that attracts me. Route 96 is a more honest-sounding record, I would say.”

"A restless atmosphere that’s reinforced by brightly winding guitar lines, and Nieland’s heartfelt vocals as he sings socio-politically steeped lyrics” ~ Big Takeover Magazine
"Wraps itself around the listener like a comforting, yet undeniably challenging, embrace. A spectacular journey... This isn't just music; it's a thoughtful, brooding meditation that truly delivers a sense of optimism and a vision for a brighter tomorrow" ~ The Spill Magazine
"Musical deftness and sonic poise which may at first belie the poignancy of the message... balances shards of guitar noise, beguiling electronica and his imploring vocals" ~ Dancing About Architecture
Renowned NYC songwriter-producer Charlie Nieland reveals 'Today', a beautifully optimistic and goosebump-triggering hymn of inspiration, which features the iconic Joe McGinty (The Psychedelic Furs, Ryan Adams, Nada Surf, The Loser's Lounge). This is the serene second-last track on his dazzling new (and now acclaimed) album 'Stories From The Borderlines', a personal exploration of themes such as connection and severance.
With sweeping melodies and restless rhythms, the meticulously crafted songs on this album—a geography of intention—are an act of imaginative resistance, passionately mining for light and truth in a darkening world. This immersive journey deservedly led to him being named Artist of the Year by The Manc Review. This is also one of the most profound albums from Nieland, known for his work producing and writing for such artists as Debbie Harry, Rufus Wainwright, Blondie and Scissor Sisters.
"'Today' is a sweeping hymn of loss and acceptance. We’re not wired to practice gratitude. When something comes along and we’re tossed into the dark, we have to choose it. This song was written when I was on the edge of losing someone I love. In that moment, I saw the universe slowly turning and the magic forest of the present moment opened up. I wrote it on keyboards and sang it for a livestream. The absence of knowing what was going to happen drew out my devotion to the burning spark of the present and how, if this was it, that would be ok," says Charlie Nieland.
"I loved the song, but as the rest of the album evolved with elaborate arrangements, I knew that 'Today' needed more than just the stark mellotron sounds I’d chosen as accompaniment. I’d been singing with the NYC performance series "The Loser’s Lounge" and decided that it was time to ask musical director (and former Psychedelic Furs keyboardist) Joe McGinty to add something great. He came through with a gorgeous set of melodies and sounds recorded at his studio."
Apart from vocals and guitar, Charlie Nieland contributes Mellotron violins and flute, e-bow guitar and bass. Joe McGinty plays multiple synths (Freeman String Symphonizer, Moog Muse, Oberheim Xpander, RMI Keyboard Computer, Sequential Pro 3, Therevox ET 5, Waldorf Iridium and Yamaha CP35).
Joe McGinty shares “I was excited to work up an arrangement for Charlie’s excellent song. We have many of the same keyboard heroes, and he referenced a specific Jon Anderson and Vangelis collaboration as inspiration. It was a bit of a tall order, but a good excuse to use some of my favorite keyboard instruments, vintage and new, for this arrangement. It was a delight to work on this song."
The video for 'Today', directed by Alex Dar, is a beautiful visual interpretation that is both devastating and somehow hopeful. Using stop-motion animation, Dar captures the interior of this song so perfectly, sharing the world co-created with Nieland and McGinty.
Previewed by 'The Ocean Understands' EP in early 2025 and several standout singles - the epic 'Win' feat. Staten Island rapper spiritchild and 'Shame' with a firecracker video by NYC artists Hypnodoll and Alice Teeple - the new album presents a visceral blend of post punk, glam, dream pop and progressive rock. With reverence for pioneering synth and guitar-driven music, these cinematic soundscapes and poignant songs also involve drummer Billy Loose and guitarist Dan McAssey.
Nieland's decades-long backstory as a writer, performer and producer is extensive. He was awarded a Gold record (UK) for his production work on Blondie's 'Greatest Hits Sight & Sound' and achieved a Top 10 Billboard Dance Chart Position with Debbie Harry's single 'Two Times Blue', which he co-wrote and produced. He scored the feature film 'The Safety of Objects' (with Glenn Close), Showtime's pilot episode of 'The L Word' and the VH-1documentary 'NY77: The Coolest Year in Hell'.
Nieland's debut solo album 'Ice Age' (2014) was followed by 'Hopeful Monsters' (2016) and ‘Divisions' (2021). After 20 years with Her Vanished Grace, he is half of the literature-inspired duo Lusterlit with Susan Hwang, and produces and co-hosts the podcast 'An Embarrassment of Prog'.
The 'Stories From The Borderlines' album is out now and available everywhere digitally, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp. Nieland performs next in New York City from February 19th to 21st (7 & 9:30pm) at Joe's Pub for 'Loser's Lounge Presents REM Vs. The Replacements', and on April 12th (5pm) at 503 Social Club (Hoboken, NJ), together with Renee Maskin and Karyn Kuhl.

Joe Bonamassa Offers a Final Preview of the Landmark 32-song Tribute "B.B. King's Blues Summit 100".

Joe Bonamassa Offers a Final Preview of the Landmark, 32-Song Tribute, B.B. King’s Blues Summit 100
Featuring Warren Haynes, Dion, Marc Broussard, Ivan Neville, Dannielle De Andrea & Josh Smith
Five New Tracks Out Now via KTBA Records
Full 32-Track Album Arrives February 6th, 2026 – Pre-Order Available Now
Joe Bonamassa returns with Vol. V of B.B. King’s Blues Summit 100, unveiling the final five songs to be released ahead of the full album’s arrival on February 6th. Out now via KTBA Records, this latest instalment completes the monthly rollout of the landmark centennial tribute, bringing together a powerful group of vocalists and musicians to honour the enduring legacy of B.B. King.
The release follows a wave of national attention for the project, including a recent CBS Mornings feature that explored Bonamassa’s personal history with King alongside the making of Blues Summit 100. Esquire featured the album in its list of the Most Anticipated Albums of 2026, alongside releases by The Rolling Stones, Lucinda Williams, Mumford & Sons, Lana Del Rey, Madonna, and more.
The new volume features “Three O’Clock Blues” feat. Marc Broussard & Josh Smith, “How Blue Can You Get” feat. Warren Haynes, “Ghetto Woman” feat. Ivan Neville, and “Never Make A Move Too Soon” feat. Dion and “When My Heart Beats Like A Hammer” feat. Dannielle De Andrea. Together, the tracks spotlight King’s unmatched vocal catalogue and emotional range, pairing timeless material with artists deeply connected to the spirit of the blues.
Leading the release is “Three O’Clock Blues,” B.B. King’s first ever single, reimagined here with Marc Broussard. “Marc is one of those dudes that can sing the phone book,” says producer Josh Smith. “When we tracked this song, I immediately thought he would kill it. It was BB’s first ever single and the original vocal is out of sight. It had to be a world class singer to pull it off!!!”
On “When My Heart Beats Like A Hammer,” Dannielle De Andrea delivers a commanding performance on one of King’s most demanding vocals. “Dannielle besides being a world class human is just a world class singer,” Smith says. “This is another amazing B.B. vocals that needed an amazing singer to do it justice. The band is crushing on this track as well.”
“How Blue Can You Get,” famously captured on Live at the Regal, finds Warren Haynes stepping into one of the most revered moments in King’s catalog. “This song and the Live at The Regal version is a pillar of B.B.’s catalog,” Smith explains. “We needed someone serious to pull it off and Warren is that guy. Warren is one of the most talented and one of the kindest artists in the business without a doubt. He was so excited to do this track, and it shows in the performance. A pure joy!!”
Ivan Neville brings emotional weight and restraint to “Ghetto Woman,” a song whose subject matter remains as resonant today as when King first recorded it. “Ivan Neville is a true master,” says Smith. “His vocal here on one of B.B. 's greatest songs it is so emotional. Again, the subject matter is so impactful that it requires someone who can really convey those emotions. It honestly may be my favorite track. The mix is incredible and Lemar’s drum track is amazing.”
The volume closes with “Never Make A Move Too Soon,” featuring Dion, whose lifelong connection to the blues shaped his approach to the song. “What more can be said about Dion? He’s a true legend,” Smith says. “He requested this as his all-time favorite B.B. song. It’s such a classic track with such a great vibe. Love the crowd noise and percussion and Joe’s solo and Marc Douthit’s sax solo are so great.”
Produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith, B.B. King’s Blues Summit 100 was created with the full support of the Estate of B.B. King and The B.B. King Music Company. The project brings together an intergenerational cast of artists, each invited to interpret a song that held personal meaning for them, resulting in a wide-ranging portrait of King’s influence across blues, rock, soul, and beyond.
Across its four volumes, the album features more than thirty guest artists, including Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr., Keb’ Mo’, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Michael McDonald, Shemekia Copeland, Slash, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Marcus King, Larkin Poe, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Paul Rodgers, Aloe Blacc, and many others. The album’s title nods to King’s Grammy-winning 1993 release Blues Summit, reflecting the same collaborative spirit on an expanded scale.
The project is rooted in Bonamassa’s own history with B.B. King, who first invited him on tour when he was just 12 years old. That early mentorship left a lasting impression and shaped Bonamassa’s approach to both music and community.
While Vol. V completes the pre-release rollout, the full album will also feature previously unreleased recordings, including the highly anticipated collaboration on “The Thrill Is Gone” with Eric Clapton and Chaka Khan, along with additional tracks that have yet to be revealed. The 32-track album will be released digitally, as a double CD, and as a triple LP vinyl (180-gram) set on February 6th, 2026.
The release arrives as Bonamassa continues an active global touring schedule. His 2026 U.S. Spring Tour launches this February, followed by a major European run highlighted by two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall. A newly announced U.S. Summer Tour will bring Bonamassa to amphitheaters nationwide, with select dates featuring Gov’t Mule, JJ Grey & Mofro, and D.K. Harrell. Full tour details and ticket information are available at jbonamassa.com/tour-dates.

Howling Bells - Hear/watch new track 'Melbourne' - UK Tour - New album 'Strange Life' out 13 February.

“[A] narcotic mix of dream pop and gnarly indie guitar riffs. Their sound has not dated, nor has the vision dimmed. From the sonic maelstrom of "Sacred Land" to the swelling harmonies of "Angel", there's darkness and sunlight here and every shade in between." Uncut
"They have never been a band to chase trends and that’s what makes their return feel so timeless" Clash
“It’s classic Howling Bells: moody, atmospheric yet uplifting” Under The Radar Magazine
UK-based Australian trio Howling Bells has just released their latest single 'Melbourne', marking the final release before the arrival of 'Strange Life', their first album in over 12 years, on 13th February.
Juanita explains: "Melbourne is a song about deep yearning and ultimately grief. It explores a unique inner conflict many of us feel when we leave our homes and families to start anew somewhere else. This aching can be especially intense when we’re faced with something traumatic and all we want is the safety and warm embrace of the familiar. I experienced a heightened version of this when I returned to Melbourne a few years ago to play some shows, having not been back for a while. It felt slightly surreal and tragic being there without any family to share this with, as they had also left Australia over the years. Then, within 24 hours of touchdown, I got a call from a hospital in England telling me that my father, who was ill, had taken a turn for the worse, and so I had to pack up and return to the UK before I’d even played a show. It was brutal. I felt a thousand things that day, from the physical weight of having to lug around 2 huge suitcases full of merch I was planning to unload, to sitting alone in tears at the airport in Singapore during the layover. All these experiences left me with a deep well of sadness and a longing to return to my homeland to find what it is I’d now lost forever. This is something I carry around with me every day. All it takes is the glimmer of the sun at a certain time of day, or the occasional scent of an eucalyptus tree, or the sharp twinge of nostalgia when I hear the melody of a particular song, to remind me of the sadness and beauty that is now my Australia".

Since their beginnings, breaking through with their acclaimed self-titled debut back in 2006 amidst a landscape of scrappy British indie and skinny-jeaned male dominance, the Australian trio - vocalist/guitarist Juanita Stein, her brother and guitarist Joel Stein and drummer Glenn Moule - have been something of an anomaly. They might have moved to the other side of the world in pursuit of the dreams that soon became a reality, playing at an NME Tour and then in stadiums supporting Coldplay whilst whipping up acclaim from the most credible ends of the music press. They may have seen various members come and go, but Howling Bells’ hypnotic indie rock always stood apart from the pack and was very much a reflection of their unbreakable union. Influenced by the likes of Tom Waits and Sonic Youth, as well as Nirvana, Fleetwood Mac, and Björk, their recipe created a heady, immersive stew - equal parts sepia-toned romance and gritty rock 'n' roll thrills.
‘Strange Life’ is both a vibrant document of and an exploratory testament to this alchemical magic. An album that harnesses the unique musical perspective that pricked up the music world’s ears back in their beginnings, but transposes it onto a lifetime’s more experience, ‘Strange Life’ is both familiar and new; a record that will unfurl like an old friend to long term fans whilst speaking in a language that only hard-won experience and a few more trips around the sun can understand. It is, suggests Juanita, a record about experience and wisdom. “If you're not able to acknowledge the mistakes and the pain and make beautiful music out of it, then they're left festering inside of you,” she says. “And I don't ever want that to happen.”
The band’s first album since 2014's ‘Heartstrings’, 'Strange Life' was recorded with Howling Bells’ long-time friend and collaborator, producer Ben Hillier (Blur, Depeche Mode, Elbow) at his Agricultural Audio Studios.

Canadian Roots, Rock, and Soul band Bywater Call are excited to announce the release of their first studio single of 2026, “Only.”
The single is available on all streaming platforms via – https://linktr.ee/bywatercall.
Watch the “Only” lyric music video on YouTube here – https://youtu.be/XYUewhzmMIQ.
“Only” is a throwback to the timeless soul anthems of the 60’s and 70’s. Featuring Meghan Parnell’s signature smokey vocals and a smooth, slow groove, this losing-of-love song is a heartfelt plea to remain together, while attempting to downplay the pain of breaking up.
The emotional melody, accompanied by the rich background vocals of Joanna Mohammed (Aphrose) and Claire Davis, captures perfectly the feeling of loving more than being loved.
Reminiscent of the classic artists of the genre, “Only” is infused with modern influences such as Adele and Amy Winehouse.
“Only is a simple, yet emotionally powerful tune," says guitarist and co-writer Dave Barnes. “It shows off a sweet, softer side of Meg’s usual powerhouse vocals.”
The song was recorded at Palace Studios in Toronto, captured and mixed by Patric McGroarty, and mastered by Kristian Montano of Montano Mastering.
“This seven-piece powerhouse outfit proves with this astonishing display of joy, energy and camaraderie that they are without a doubt one of the most exciting bands of the moment.” – Bluestown Music
“A living, breathing testament to what happens when a band catches fire, led by a vocalist who doesn’t just perform but preaches the blues. Bywater Call isn’t following the tradition, they’re pushing it forward one electrical show at a time.” – Blues Matters
Often transcending genres, Bywater Call is known for their dynamic, emotional live shows, featuring powerful vocals and exciting interplay between all band members.
In their August 2024 issue, Classic Rock made Bywater Call’s 2024 album Shepherd their “Blues Album of the Month” and said it was “an inventive and uncommonly catchy record,” and added, “the sense of a band on the brink is unmistakable.” The album won “Top Blues Album of the Year” in the magazine’s year-end round-up.
In early 2025 Bywater Call received a nomination at the UK Blues Awards for “International Act of the Year” for the second year in a row.
The band will be on tour throughout Europe, the USA and Canada in 2026.

Tinsley Ellis Announces 2026 LABOR OF LOVE Tour.
TINSLEY ELLIS ANNOUNCES FIRST LEG OF 2026 LABOR OF LOVE TOUR
Ellis To Criss-Cross The U.S. In First Two Months Of Tour
New Album Labor Of Love Set For January 30, 2026 Release

“Ellis delivers a powerful punch of deep roots blues and wicked guitar...a foot-stomping, raucous good time...a joyous and triumphant celebration of acoustic music. You’ll feel it down to the bone.”
–Living Blues
“Glorious, raw and propulsive acoustic blues...killer vocals and biting, dazzling guitar work.”
–AllMusic
“Stripped down and raw...gruff, unembellished vocals...glistening melodies fingerpicked with delicacy...so genuine it seems like a long lost recording.”
–Blues Music Magazine
Atlanta-based blues guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Tinsley Ellis announces the first leg of his 2026 Labor Of Love tour. His new all acoustic album, Labor Of Love, will be released on Friday, January 30, 2026. The solo tour kicks off with three home base Georgia shows before heading to Washington, DC, New York and the East Coast, then through Chicago, Minneapolis, and the Midwest, then into Denver, Phoenix, Albuquerque and on to Florida.
Labor Of Love is Ellis' second acoustic album (after 2024's Blues Music Award-nominated Naked Truth), and his first acoustic album to contain all original material. The album will be available on CD, Georgia peach-colored vinyl LP and at all digital service providers. It is available for pre-order here.
Since the 2024 release of Naked Truth, Ellis has been traveling on his own, performing solo all over the country in his jokingly named “Two Guitars And A Car” tour. For Ellis, playing solo, acoustic blues has helped him tap into the raw essence of the music. “I love doing these shows,” Ellis says, “I can be more expressive and emotional as a solo acoustic artist. I just love the sound of acoustic guitar. I always have.” 2026 LABOR OF LOVE TOUR

With Labor Of Love, Ellis delivers a raw, edgy, self-produced set of 13 original compositions, all performed with pure emotional honesty. The songs spin modern tales of floods, conflagrations, voodoo spirits, personal travails and heaven-sent prayers. From the feral opener Hoodoo Woman to the John Lee Hooker-groove of Long Time to the evocative, Skip James-inspired To A Hammer to the Son House-style stomp of Sunnyland, Ellis inhabits his songs in a way that is simply astonishing.
Each performance carries the weight, experience and hard-earned wisdom Ellis learned over four decades on the road, making Labor Of Love as profoundly deep and moving as any music he has made in his career. It covers the gamut of emotions, finding good times in the hard times, mixing gentle beauty with foot-pounding ferocity.
During a break from the recording of the new album, Ellis spent time in Bentonia, Mississippi, birthplace of Skip James and home to blues legend Jimmy “Duck” Holmes. Ellis soaked up the spirit of this tiny Delta town, hanging out with Holmes and getting a deep insight into genuine Bentonia blues. While there, Ellis performed with Holmes at his famous Blue Front Café, soaking up every moment. “Once I got home,” notes Ellis, “I went right back to the studio and incorporated everything that I just experienced into my music.”
For the album, Ellis used six different open tunings on his beloved 1969 Martin D-35, his 12-string Martin D-12-20, and his 1937 National Steel O Series guitars. He also, for the first time in his career, played mandolin on three of the album’s songs. The instrumentation and the tunings, he notes, create endless possibilities, and he finds himself constantly invigorated by the music.
“No matter what I play, I like to have an edge. For me, just playing this music is a labor of love. I sat at the feet of Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf. I got into this music because of them. I always told myself if I could just make a living playing the blues, I’d be, at least in my own mind, successful.”
Premier Guitar believes he’s more than reached that goal, declaring, “Ellis is a legend of American blues music...he’s an American music treasure. He delivers a sermon on the power and glory of the blues, and is one of modern blues’ greatest performers.”

The Georgia Thunderbolts turn down the stage lights on their swansong, Overlord.

So far, it’s been a wild ride for five young guys from Rome, Georgia. But, today, The Georgia Thunderbolts are turning down the stage lights on their journey for a while, with their single Overlord.
It’s fitting that their journey comes to a pause with the stadium-shaking final single, Overlord. A marauding three-and-a-half minutes of molten hot grungy riffs, Southern Rock fury, and TJ Lyle’s vocals taking on the ride of its life. Their rootsy influences are saturated in sludgy desert rock with drums straight from the bowels of a volcano and lightning-sharp solos.
It's the most impassioned we've seen vocalist TJ Lyle so far, and talking about the song, he says, "Throughout history, we've seen people in power try to achieve their goals, and often it's done in the wrong way. This song sheds some light on that subject. There is no need to belittle or harm anyone. We were put on this earth to love and support each other as brothers and sisters. Recently, it seems we've gone our separate ways from that. Let's get back to love, respect, and care. Seek humanity, not greed. Seek love, not war. Always seek love."
The road to being hailed as the new torchbearers of Southern rock hasn't been as glamorous as you might imagine for The Georgia Thunderbolts. It's hard graft, and they've put in the hard miles, honing their live shows from clubs to theatres and festival stages.
But the realities of touring North America and mainland Europe in 2025 proved overwhelming, both financially and personally. Long travel days, rising costs, and time away from steady work took their toll, compounded by Lyle suffering a mild stroke just before they were due to embark on the band’s first UK tour. While he is fully recovered as of late, at the time his health ultimately had to come first.
When the school friends released their self-titled debut EP on Mascot Records in August 2020, few could have predicted the whirlwind five years that followed. TJ Lyle (vocals), Zach Everett (bass, guitar), Bristol Perry (drums), Riley Couzzourt (guitar), and Logan Tolbert (guitar) quickly found themselves championed by Rolling Stone as proof that “Southern rock continues to thrive in the 21st century,” with Classic Rock magazine declaring the five-piece the genre’s “new heroes.”
The hard touring band crisscrossed their way across the US and toured Europe three times; along the way, playing shows with Black Stone Cherry, Deep Purple, ZZ Top, The Marshall Tucker Band, the Allman Betts Band, Blackberry Smoke, The Outlaws, The Kentucky Headhunters, and more.
Along the way, the band released two further albums on Mascot Records: Can We Get A Witness (2021) and Rise Above It All (2024) - two timeless records blending classic songwriting, heartfelt Americana, and surging, high-octane Southern Rock. They’ve picked up incredible support with global playlisting, SXM, BBC Radio 2, Planet Rock Radio, Rolling Stone, Classic Rock, Paste, Vintage Rock, BraveWords, Loudwire, No Depression, and a whole load more.
Talking about the journey, Riley reflects, “I’ve always said and always will say… ‘if it all ended tomorrow boys we can’t complain one bit.’ We have been blessed beyond measure and have done more and seen more than 90% of your average humans with this band. I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with any other four guys in the world.
I, along with the other four guys, am honored to have met many people in the music industry, but Richard (Young) has got to be number one. Meeting Richard was one of my favorite parts of playing music professionally.”
Opening up about the importance of their manager and mentor, he continues, “He did amazing things for us in the industry, but as a person, friend, family member.. I wouldn’t mind sitting around listening to him tell stories and hanging out with him all day. (One of my favorite parts of our journey). My other favorite part of the musical journey was the fans. You meet people far and wide, some that you have similarities and some that you do not. It was always fun just getting out mingling after the shows, and it’s amazing how many down-to-earth people you have out there.
Looking back over the last ten years, Bristol says, “What a ride it’s been! Different countries, different states, and all the fans who have stood by us the whole way! We will never be able to thank them enough for sticking with us. The Strykers are the best!! Touring has its challenges for all of us; the world around you still revolves, and real life and its demands take their toll. We’ve loved every minute being on stage and playing our music for you; we will miss it for sure. Please understand this was a very hard decision for us to take a break from touring. We want to thank all the bands and crews we met that are now our brothers from the road. We appreciate all the help and support from our manager, Richard Young, and our label, Mascot Records. My bandmates and I never knew how this journey would go, and it certainly exceeded the expectations of 5 guys from rural Georgia. We have been blessed. We love you all! ”
As the band takes a hiatus - for now - they part with, “Though our futures may be uncertain, as we know life’s changes can bring. It’s wonderful to see that Mascot Records' belief in our music is still upheld with the release of our single Overlord. We’d like to express our undying love, appreciation, and affection to all who have ridden along on this wonderful journey. God bless you all. Thanks for the memories.”
The Georgia Thunderbolts take a break, not from a lack of passion, but from the understanding that ambition alone can’t outweigh the importance of family and its responsibilities. But in a short time, they have collected a lifetime of memories and touched a million hearts.
As they step away, and say until we meet again, the world would do well to carry forward The Georgia Thunderbolts’ parting message: “Seek humanity, not greed. Seek love, not war. Always seek love.”

"The Melancholy Kings prove that they know exactly how you can mix pop smarts with indie cool and just enough rock energy to build the best of many worlds" ~ Big Takeover Magazine
"The Melancholy Kings channel the gritty, melancholic charm of ’90s college rock, staking their claim as the spiritual heirs to Paul Westerberg and Jeff Tweedy... jangles with the infectious insouciance of The Replacements while maintaining a sophisticated lyrical core" ~ The Spill Magazine
"Riffs rock, beats and basslines groove, dynamics ebb and flow, sweet harmonies drift through the air, and the result is a track that is infectious and insightful, power-pop-ish and poignant, melodic and muscular" ~ Dancing About Architecture
New Jersey rockers The Melancholy Kings kick off 2026 with the single 'UV', a quasi-psychedelic musical journey drawing from Thomas Pynchon’s novel "V", a post-modern homage that follows the enigmatic heroine V and the Whole Sick Crew, brought to life through crunchy guitar riffs, psychedelic keyboards, string interludes, a quasi-rap and a bacchanalian finale.
'UV' is featured on their sophomore album 'Her Favorite Disguise', recently released via Magic Door Record Label. This song features contributions by famed trumpeter Mac Gollehon (David Bowie, Al Jarreau, Duran Duran, Mick Jagger, Hall and Oates), who added his sick improvisations in the outro, cellist Carolyn Jeselsohn, who performs Scott Selig’s Beatle-esqe string arrangements, and vocalist Olivia Selig with some soulful belting at the end of the song.
The Melancholy Kings' core is singer-guitarist Mike Potenza (The Anderson Council, Crash Harmony, BARD, Gramercy Arms) and bassist Scott Selig (Ambulance, Uncle Moon, Deni Bonet Band, Super Tuesday), who met amidst corporate life in Manhattan, learning they were both active in the '90s-'00s NYC indie scene, playing in various "almost-famous" bands, touring and opening for legendary artists. They ultimately rededicated themselves to music, solidifying their lineup with drummer Paul Andrew (Fluffer, Phantom Tollbooth) and guitarist Peter Horvath (The Anderson Council).
"I wanted both the music and lyrics to embrace multiple genres like the book “V” and the main character, who transforms in many unexpected ways. So we worked in rock, psychedelic, some rap and a classical vibe with the strings and the lyrics being purposefully impressionistic. This song is this kind of mixture with a lot of different things happening, but in the end comes together," says Michael Potenza.
Scott Selig adds, “From the start, we wanted the studio version of this song to have a kaleidoscope of aural ear candy, with trippy effects, multiple guitar layers, electric piano, strings and horns. The song originated as a riff, chord progression and embryonic song structure that I recorded and sent to Mike, who fleshed it out and added the lyrics. The band worked up the final arrangement collectively."
This long-awaited follow up to their 2019 eponymous debut record, 'Her Favorite Disguise' is an unapologetic nod to the rough-hewn '80s pre-grunge alt-rock era. Produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Ray Ketchem (Guided by Voices, Luna, Elk City, Gramercy Arms, Crash Harmony) at Magic Door Recording Studio in Montclair, NJ, this album also involves Elk City vocalist Reneé LoBue, accordionist Carl Riehl (Michelle Shocked, Uncle Moon), and Ketchem on percussion.
"The video alludes to, without overtly referencing, the characters in the novel “V” – in particular the mysterious title character. It juxtaposes colorful outdoor band performance footage with black & white vignettes (shot old-school on 16mm film) of a V-like woman from various indeterminate time periods in and around New York City, perhaps engaged in semi-clandestine activities," says Scott Selig.
"Later, they are joined by assorted characters (beatniks, punks, flappers, intellectual revolutionaries, hippies, a Russian spy, a Bierkeller-Madl, a recluse) to form a colorful debauched bacchanal, in an indirect nod to The Whole Sick Crew from the novel. An unforecasted rain shower drenched our party, but I think that ended up contributing to a more absurd and interesting atmosphere. The video concept was fleshed out and brought to fruition with the help of emerging cinematographer Jordan Miller, filmmaker Madeleine Grace Smith as “V”, and our friends and family as The Whole Sick Crew".
'Her Favorite Disguise' taps into the vicissitudes of life in the Big Apple and its homely step-sister across the Hudson, celebrating and cringing at its rich tapestry and follies. 'Bitcoin Elegy' explores the inevitable decline of meaningful personal relationships in the digital age. Jangly guitar rocker 'Victoria' was resurrected from days of wearing down the grooves of their REM and Replacements records. 'Astor Place' recounts the familiar tale of suburban exodus to Jersey's promised land, and 'New Girl' tells the lonely tale of a man hopelessly in love with a film noir siren.
As of January 8th, 'Her Favorite Disguise' is available on limited edition 12" vinyl. Digitally, the album is out everywhere, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp. The Melancholy Kings perform next in NYC at The Delancy on February 12 and at The Meat Locker in Montclair, NJ on March 21 for their official album release show.

Shadow on the Hill is the new solo album from Adam Norsworthy, one of the most respected and critically acclaimed singer-songwriters on the UK’s live music scene. As a founder member of The Mustangs and The Milk Men, Adam has also forged a fascinating and widely-acclaimed solo career, with five previous solo albums.
A collection of 10 new songs, all written by Adam, Shadow on the Hill showcases the softer, more reflective side of Adam’s writing whilst still maintaining his gift for writing memorable melodies and hooks, as well as his talent for writing lyrics that are often, in turn, honest & stark or vivid & memorable.
Released on Adam’s own Park Hall label Shadow on the Hill is available on CD from www.adamnorsworthy.co.uk and digitally from Amazon, iTunes and all usual online retailers. Fusing pop, rock, folk, country and blues, Shadow on the Hill is Adam’s most beautiful album to date, as it chronicles the complete breakdown of an intense relationship – which Adam uses as a metaphor for the current state of the world.

“Relationships are breaking down everywhere,” says Adam. “The polarisation of opinions is tearing people apart and driving a wedge between us all. Long-held, cherished relationships have been destroyed by events happening all over the world from Brexit to the current administration on Capitol Hill.”
Adam plays all the instruments on the album apart from the drums, which are provided by drummer Tim Weller (The Divine Comedy), who has worked with a wide range of music legends from David Bowie to Eric Clapton. Tim also plays regularly for Dexy’s Midnight Runners and Marc Almond.
Shadow on the Hill is self-produced by Adam and mixed & mastered by Wayne Proctor of House Of Tone.
The perfect partnership, this is the eleventh album the pair have worked on together (four of Adam’s previous solo works, four Milk Men albums and two Mustangs albums). “Wayne and I have a great working relationship”, says Adam. “And especially with my solo albums we like to find a new angle or approach. On this album we have created an atmosphere that draws you in and holds your attention as you follow the story through”.
Adam is also the founder and organiser of Milkfest – an annual one-day celebration of British Blues held at the O2 in London to raise money for charity. Artists who have played,or will play, Milkfest include Dr Feelgood, Paul Jones, Chris Difford, Elles Bailey, The Climax Blues Band and many others.
In November 2025 he published his first memoir, the highly praised Stage by Stage A Life in Twelve Gigs.
'A highly entertaining, illuminating and heartfelt account of the ups, downs and ups again of a rock and roll obsessive, by the leader of one of Britain's finest blues bands.'
Mick Brown, The Telegraph
“Adam has crossed the bridge between writing songs and writing a book delightfully in Stage By Stage.”
Jon Astley, Legendary Record Producer
“A biographical odyssey through time and sound, Stage By Stage is a charming, truthful and nostalgic celebration of a lifetime spent in live performance”
RawRamp
“A funny, frank and moving love letter to live music and the passionate people who ensure the show must go on”
Moshville
Stage By Stage is available as a paperback or an e-book from Amazon. On March 1st Adam will be running Milkfest at the O2 in aid of Dementia UK and in the Spring the Milk Men will be releasing their seventh album.
Acclaim for Adam Norsworthy:
“One of our finest, and most original songwriters” – Blues in Britain
“An amazing lyricist, achingly beautiful..a major talent” Blues Matters Magazine.
“A masterclass in songwriting craft” – songwriter.com
“He creates songs that are easy to listen to but that grab the ear and don’t let go” – Blues Matters “Superior, exceptional and resonant. Adam deserves every opportunity to reach a wide audience”

"Grooves and moves, ambience and addiction, brass and bass, analogue and digital, the old and the new, the timeless and the forward-thinking all subsumed into a dub sound" ~ Big Takeover Magazine
"An immersive and atmospheric experience within the realm of dub music... a sonic landscape where every element has its place and purpose" ~ Skylight Webzine
"Evokes the imagination into eager action, sultry intimations echoed in the music’s warmly fragrant enterprise and inspiriting breath" ~ Ringmaster Review
”Love this! They've made a work of supreme creativity” ~ Carlos Santana (on 'Reverberations' album)
Manhattan-based artist Nevaris presents 'Ninth Sun-Live', the first offering from his new 'SoundSession' EP, a fruitful and soulful live recording that combines dub, funk, Afro-Latin rhythms, turntablism and extended improvisation. This follows his 2023 debut 'Reverberations' album, released via M.O.D. Reloaded, with the one and only Carlos Santana calling it "a work of supreme creativity”.
A live studio recording from percussionist Agustín Nevaris, and a nine-piece ensemble that includes DJ Logic, Jonathan Maron, Angel Rodriguez, Will Bernard, Peter Apfelbaum, Jojo Kuo, Lockatron and Matt Dickey, 'SoundSession' is the fourth collaboration between Nevaris, legendary bassist-producer Bill Laswell, and this lineup of musicians.
Captured in Laswell’s Orange Sound studio in West Orange, New Jersey, this EP was recorded live in a single session on May 30th, 2023. Originally planned as a streaming virtual performance, the band scrapped that idea to instead focus on the simplicity of playing live with multiple cameras documenting the process. There were no edits or overdubs to the recording, and all instruments were captured synchronously in real time. The result is 'SoundSession'.
Recorded and mixed by James Dellatacoma and mastered by Michael Fossenkember at Turtletone Studios, this recording features interpretations of music previously written by Nevaris and Bill Laswell, including specific basslines that were written by Laswell, which bassist Jonathan Maron learned and performed when Bill was unable to participate in the recording for health reasons.
"SoundSession is about playing together live without being stressed by ticket sales or a venue accommodating so many musicians. Bill Laswell's studio in West Orange, New Jersey has always been an inspiring place with so much history. (It was built for Franki Valli originally.) The live room is something magnificent. We had never used it in a way that fully took advantage of it," says Nevaris.
"So this was a chance to do so, using the full space of this sizeable room. From the first notes, we could tell there was something good happening. And the recording documents it exactly as it was, with no overdubs or edits. Every note feels right from my perspective; exactly how it happened in real time."
Agustín Nevaris is a percussionist, keyboardist, vocalist and composer, heavily influenced by Afro-Latin, dub, and funk music. From the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Nevaris also performs under the name Loud Apartment with an evolving lineup of musicians, most notably Bernie Worrell of P-Funk and Talking Heads.
"People think everything is manipulated in the studio and a lot of it is. And everybody is talking about AI now. But we are moving in the opposite direction where everything gets more organic and raw with every project we work on," says Nevaris.
"There is nothing that can compare to the beauty of artists making work in its most organic form. There's a place for technology and a place for getting back to the old school way of doing things. And that's what this recording is about. Playing live together without any click track or overdubbing, or edits of any kind. And it takes cats who can really play to pull it off. It is a joy to play with every one of the musicians involved in this process."
Inspired by the energy of growing up in New York City, Nevaris is of European and Mexican descent with multi-generational roots in both NYC and LA's Echo Park neighborhood. A visual and multimedia artist, who has worked on a vast array of creative projects across mediums, Nevaris also co-founded Nolej Records, Nolej Studios and the Uncomun Festival.
Already in the works is a second studio album that features some truly exciting special guests, which will be released via Bill Laswell's label M.O.D. Reloaded later in 2026.
As of January 7, 'Ninth Sun - Live' will be available on the 'SoundSession' EP pre-order via Bandcamp. On February 27, the full EP will be released via digital music platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp, where the 'Reverberations' album can also be found.

Irish singer-songwriter Ger Eaton shares 'I Thought I'd A Friend', an enchanting track that highlights his debut album 'Season Changes', recently released via Peckham-based label Dimple Discs. With a rich progression from baroque pop and cinematic balladry to more folk elements, Eaton creates music that is laced with broad orchestral arrangements, drama, and honesty.
Accompanied by an endearing video by Damien Hickey and beautiful string arrangements, 'I Thought I'd A Friend' is the latest in a string of singles that include 'Season Changes', 'Hollow' and 'The Time It Takes To Fall', and recently-released live rendition of 'Phoenix (Reborn)' and 'Season Changes', recorded live at Hyde Dublin.
A singer and sonic auteur with flair for Renaissance Pop, Ger Eaton is well known in his native homeland as a performer, his distinctive keyboards having graced many Irish bands of the last two decades. These songs carry echoes of Scott Walker, Jimmy Webb, Brian Wilson, Ian Brown and the high melodic heyday of the late 1960s, yet shot through with a contemporary slant and edge.
"‘Season Changes’ is essentially an old fashioned break-up LP. All of the songs deal with the complexities, both emotional and physical, that come with the ending of a very long and significant relationship. Mirroring the seasons, ‘Season Changes’ charts the often inevitable decay of a relationship, from the glowing bloom of its Spring, gradually ebbing away to its wintery conclusion," says Ger Eaton.
"The songs were written about and recorded during the end of my marriage, and I decided from the off that the Lyrics would be raw and honest… I felt I owed that much to myself. Musically, I wanted the arrangements and instrumentation to bring a lushness and drama that would wrap the words in the appropriate Musical Cloak ...For me, music has always been a place where I can both lose and find myself… a Solice … my Phoenix."
Each new song and accompanying video from Ger Easton has marked an exciting stage in his progress, for which he has received recognition and tremendous support from music writers and radio programmers in Ireland and the UK, and now in America and further abroad.
The 'Season Changes' album is out now on vinyl and CD, and is also available from digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and also Bandcamp.

Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials To Release SLIDEWAYS On February 27, 2026.
New Song And Video -- Bad All By Myself -- Out Now
2026 Slideways Tour Announced

Lil’ Ed Williams is a slide guitarist extraordinaire…electrifying and raucous. He represents one of the few authentic links to pure Chicago blues.
–The Chicago Tribune
Outrageous, forceful Chicago blues slide-guitar…piping hot energy…Lil’ Ed is a star of the first magnitude.
–DownBeat
Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials don’t just rock the house, they threaten to blow the whole thing down. Muscular, scalding, explosive guitar…incendiary soul played with fiery intensity...a raw-boned tour-de-force, raucously felt and blisteringly articulated.
–Blues Revue On Friday, February 27, 2026, Blues Hall Of Famers Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials -- led by Chicago slide guitar icon Lil' Ed Williams -- will release Slideways, their 10th Alligator Records release, and perhaps the crowning achievement of their entire career. For nearly 40 years together, Lil’ Ed Williams and The Blues Imperials—bassist (and Ed’s half brother) James “Pookie” Young, guitarist Mike Garrett and drummer Kelly Littleton—have been delivering gloriously riotous, intensely emotional, wickedly playful Chicago blues to audiences around the world. Lil’ Ed—like his musical forebearers, slide guitar masters J.B. Hutto (Ed’s uncle), Elmore James and Hound Dog Taylor—is a giant of the genre. Slideways will be available on CD, blood-red vinyl LP and at all digital service providers. It is available for pre-order here.
Also on February 27, the band will kick off their 2026 Slideways tour with a hometown record release party at historic FitzGerald's Nightclub in Berwyn, Illinois. See full tour dates below.
The first single from the album, the original foot-stomper Bad All By Myself, premieres today, along with a striking new video.
Produced by Williams and Alligator Records founder and president Bruce Iglauer, Slideways is a dynamic, high-energy collection of 13 songs, including 12 written or co-written by Williams. With the band at the absolute height of their powers, Williams’ singing and playing is thrilling and at times hair-raising. The songs—eight featuring the deep blues keyboard playing of Ben Levin (“He’s got that old-time style,” says Williams)—are filled with simple, relatable truths. They feature colorful characters in humorous to harrowing situations, some sinning while grinning, others smiling while crying. From the high-octane opener Bad All By Myself to the feral 13th Street And Trouble to the home wrecking Flirt In The Car Wash Skirt to Lil’ Ed’s heartbreaking and soul-shattering reinvention of Homeless Blues, Slideways is a tour-de-force of old school Chicago blues performed with up-to-the-minute urgency.
Williams says the new album captures the band in all its glory, and Iglauer brought out the best in each member. “Bruce challenged us. He pulled things out of me I didn’t expect, and I’m glad he did. Pookie worked his butt off and played great. Mike always plays something cool. He lays the flavor down the way I like it. And Kelly, he’s a wildman. He makes me stomp my foot even harder than normal.”
Mixing smoking slide guitar boogies and raw-boned shuffles with the deepest soul-burners and heart-wrenching slow blues, Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials perform each track with an impassioned sense of wild abandon. Lil' Ed's celebratory slide work, deep blues string bending, fervent vocals and riveting original songs, all powered by The Blues Imperials’ rock-solid, road-tested, telepathic musicianship, are as real and hard-hitting as Chicago blues gets. According to Guitar World, “The band is a snarling boogie-blues machine.” The Boston Globe says Lil’ Ed plays “positively scorching guitar,” and the band delivers “a classic Chicago vibe with an energy that’s timeless.”
With Slideways’ endlessly enjoyable music, Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials provide an entry point for new listeners as much as a "welcome home" to long time “Ed Heads” all over the world. After almost four decades together, the band’s authentic, unvarnished blues and their infectious energy, joyful showmanship and masterful performances have been honed to a razor’s edge. Even so, they continue to push each other to greater musical heights. “I love my guys to the point of no return,” adds Lil’ Ed. “They always surprise me.” As for the band’s durability, he says, “What I love is that we’re a family, and families stay together.”LIL' ED & THE BLUES IMPERIALS -- 2026 SLIDEWAYS TOUR

Ross Harding Announces New 2026 Live Dates for ‘The Blood & The Blues’ UK Tour.
South African guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Ross Harding has announced new 2026 UK live dates.
Award-winning Blues-Rock guitarist Ross Harding Announces New 2026 Live Dates for ‘The Blood & The Blues’ UK Tour which will see him continue to take his darker bluesy rock & roll throughout the UK in 2026.
Ross Harding hit the ground running in 2024 performing across the UK in Newcastle, Glasgow, Bracknell, London, Southampton, Woking, and Kingsbridge in various formats including Solo Acoustic, Unplugged Band and Full Electric Band.
The full electric band performances will now be under the banner of “Ross Harding & The Dark Blues” but the first-class musicianship, captivating songs and the dark blues rock sound remain.
‘The Blood and The Blues’ UK Tour will begin with live dates from late January 2026 onwards. New dates will be announced once confirmed on an ongoing basis. Keep an eye on Ross’s socials! Please always check both the artist and venues’ socials for any updates/rescheduling of live dates before travelling.
The new dates will include a debut headline full-band performance at Ram Jam Records in Kingston Upon Thames on Saturday 7th February 2026 followed by a set as part of the Stockport Blues Night on Thursday 12th February 2026 at The Spinning Top in Stockport. Then Ross Harding and The Dark Blues will visit The John Peel Arts Centre in Stowmarket on Saturday 28th February 2026.
As we move into March 2026, Ross Harding will perform a solo acoustic opening set for established blues-rock band Big Wolf Band on Friday 20th March 2026 at Colne Delta Blues and Americana Club in Brightlingsea, Essex. Then the band will return to The Fiery Bird in Woking, Surrey on Saturday 21st March 2026 before wrapping the month up with their debut Dark Blues electric band performance at newly opened venue Riff Factory in Stoke On Trent on Friday 27th March 2026. This follows Ross’s sold-out solo acoustic and acoustic band sets, last year in the city.
New dates will be announced once confirmed on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Keep an eye on Ross’s socials and his official LinkTree! Ticket links and details can be found below.
Speaking about the 2026 live dates, Ross Harding explains: “2026 is all about my Dark Blues Revival – honest, authentic music, both live and recorded. I’m humbled by the warmth music lovers in the UK and abroad have shown me, and I look forward to revisiting those cities while bringing the music to new audiences both here in the UK and beyond”.
“The thing which sets Ross Harding apart from his contemporaries, is the primal and primitive feel of his songs, his voice and his playing.” – Taken from Album Review by Andy Sharrocks of Get Ready To Rock
“‘Me & Lucifer,' with its train track rhythm and heavy acoustic boogie, is a great example of Ross Harding’s ability to take a more traditional blues style and give it a darker, modern edge.” – Taken from an album review by Ross Muir of Fabrications HQ
No Ross Harding live show is alike, with his musical skills and versatility being showcased in three unique formats: Solo Acoustic, Acoustic “Unplugged Band” and Electric Band. Much like John Mayer’s 2008 release ‘Where The Light Is: Live In Los Angeles’, this approach allows people to fully experience Ross Harding’s songwriting, guitar talents, and captivating stage presence.
Ross Harding ‘Dark Echoes’ (Solo Acoustic)
An acoustic blues rock musical experience, where Ross Harding performs mesmerizing original songs, with some unique renditions of cover songs that have been greatly influential in his music. He utilizes guitar effects pedals, alternately tuned guitars, slide guitar, and mastery of the “looper pedal” to sonically design an atmospheric and emotive performance that redefines and breathes new life into the traditional “solo acoustic” performance style. This show is a truly hypnotic musical experience for more intimate audiences.
- For fans of acoustic music, blues rock, and artists like Chris Cornell, Glenn Hughes & Myles Kennedy
Ross Harding Acoustic / “Unplugged” Band
An acoustic “unplugged” blues rock musical experience, where, with an excellent band, Ross Harding performs reimagined, mesmerizing original songs, with some unique renditions of cover songs that have been greatly influential in his music. This performance is for audiences who love a slightly more intimate and emotive musical presentation.
- For fans of “MTV’s Unplugged,” Nirvana, Alice In Chains, acoustic music, blues & blues rock, and artists like Chris Cornell, Glenn Hughes / Black Country Communion & Myles Kennedy
Ross Harding And The Dark Blues (Electric Band)
An electric blues rock/hard rock musical experience, where, with an excellent band, Ross Harding performs original songs with one or two renditions of cover songs that have been greatly influential in his music. An unapologetic rock & roll experience for audiences who love high energy music, with interludes of slow blues and emotive musical mastery.
- For fans of high energy rock & roll, blues rock, and artists like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Joe Bonamassa, Glenn Hughes/Black Country Communion, Slash and Myles Kennedy.
Ross has already hit the ground running on the UK live circuit opening for fellow blues-rock artist Dan Patlansky at Oran Mor in Glasgow, Scotland and The Cluny, Newcastle in April 2024. This was then followed by more solo acoustic performances supporting British Blues-Rocking riffmeister Jack J Hutchinson at The Black Heart in Camden, London and rising American roots rock band Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast on their first headline UK Tour at The 1865 in Southampton. He also released the single ‘A Thousand Snakes (Deluxe Version)’ which is a stripped-back acoustic version of the track. It has already received US radio airplay and has been helping secure coverage from a variety of music publications and shows including Rock The Joint Magazine, Overtone Magazine, The Edward Fowler Show, The Guildford Dragon, and Rambling Man Writings amongst others. This was followed by extensive radio airplay of further singles including ‘Revelator Blues and ‘Me & Lucifer’ which both received airplay on radio stations such as Blues Radio UK and WDNF Philly.
He also performed at venues in Bristol including Mr. Wolfs and The Louisiana where he once again opened for Jack J Hutchinson prior to the London date. Then in November 2025, he opened for Blues Harmonica extraordinaire Will Wilde in Southampton to a sold-out crowd. Festival appearances at Shynefest 2025, Guilfest 2025, The Great Rhythm and Blues Festival 2025, Midhurst Jazz and Blues Festival 2025 and Stockport Blues and Roots Festival 2025 helped to introduce his brand of Dark Blues to new audiences across the UK.
His latest album ‘The Blood & The Blues’ is out now on CD and digital formats.

“…a remarkable dark and moving depth…an experience that starts with his cracked, soulful and incredibly emotive voice which has a surprising turn of range to it…With a crisp and clear production, the subtleties of guitar and vocals are beautifully balanced…sometimes you just need to go back to your musical roots, and it’s rather fantastic that it’s taken a gentleman half my age to remind me of that fact.”
